About Waypoint Recovery Center

Our fundamental principles and practices are built on the disease concept of addiction. Addiction should be treated as a chronic disease, not an acute episode. We understand that substance use disorders can disrupt a person’s life and the lives of their loved ones. We’re here to help you and your family understand more fully how to manage, gain support for, and adequately treat addiction. We believe the first step is to instill hope for change – inspiration that a new way of living is possible.

What Our Patients Say About Us

Okay so I came to this amazing place on the 26th of September. I was desperate, sick of using ( opiates, fentanyl were my DOC) I was just done, did not want to use anymore. So I found this place and from the very moment I called them to the moment they seen me off to my next facility I felt the love from these people. Y'all I am telling you from the people who answer the phones all the way to the cleaning lady (Mrs T. Croft I love you girl! I found an AMAZING church and a sponsor already I carry that bible YOU GAVE ME everyday!) these people care! They even came all the way to North Augusta South Carolina to PICK ME UP! They loved me when I couldn't love myself, full of shame and guilt, anger, sadness, unworthiness I was just barley hanging on. But these wonderful Godsent people showed me compassion, love, and concern. I also checked the reviews before I got there and I kept seeing people saying " this place saved my life" numerous times in different reviews. Well I am very proud and honored to say that I got EXACTLY that. I highly recommend Waypoint Recovery Center to ANYONE sick and suffering from this disease of addiction. You will learn so much about addiction and yourself which is very very important. If you give this place your all, an I mean you got to put some effort too it's not a magic genie that just heals you, but the love and mercy and STRENGTH GOD or (higher power) gives you when your ready you will see some light at the end of your tunnel. I can't speak for everyone but I can speak for me and this place works if you work it! They have a really cool app to stay connected once you finish the program. Staying connected is a HUGE part of recovery y'all, you will learn that. The counselors are amazing and believe it or not a lot of the workers have their OWN beautiful story and can really relate to you. That right there speaks volumes especially to the addict. The nursing staff is truly amazing once they read this they will know exactly who I am talking about lol but they truly treat you like a person not a number or a paycheck, these people 110% care and love you. The BHAs are another set of truly amazing people. I could go on and on y'all but special shout outs to Mrs Candy, Mrs Brandy, Mrs Tish, Mr Scott, Mr Lane, Mr Jared, Mrs Stephanie, Mrs Mandy, Mrs Alecia, Mrs Delphine, Mrs Taylor, Mrs KeKe, Mrs Kennedy, Mrs Shae, Mrs Tara, Mr D (BHA), Mr Tripp, Mr Elliot and both Matt's! y'all the list goes on an on for the ones I did not mention I love each of yall and want to thank yall for EVERYTHING. 5 stars!! this place is AMAZING!

This place saved my life. The staff is top notch and were such a saving grace. I met some amazing women who were such an inspiration. I would recommend this place to anyone who was lost and felt hopeless. They are not just a treatment center they are caring and helpful to navigate the rocky road of addiction.

skeptical of how this place was and what to expect.the 30 days I signed up for. It was the best thing that I could’ve ever done. The staff, the nurses, the RA‘s. Everyone had open arms to me to help me with recovery. They needed to make my stay comforting and they did.I have now graduated and have been out a week and a half and I am following the steps in the AA 12 step program and I’ve gotten a sponsor like they preached to me that this is what you need to learn so that you don’t go back to the life that you left. It is working and I and my family thank all of waypoint staff for showing me this.

I did a 30-day program at Waypoint Recovery Center, it truly SAVED my life! The atmosphere is beautiful. The counselors are down to earth. The schedule and curriculum gives you the tools to realistically change your lifestyle in a positive way. And the aftercare an alumni group is a must for long lasting success. This place was truly life or death for me. No exaggeration!

I came to Waypoint in July of 2024, it changed my life. The counselors, nurses, and daily staff made my experience better than I thought possible, and I am sober to this day thanks to this place. I would highly recommend it to anyone. They also provide guidance and community after treatment, I am still in touch with a wonderful alumni coordinator who helps me in my recovery almost daily. If you or someone you know is struggling, please consider Waypoint, it is truly life changing.

Inpatient recovery was completely necessary for me to become sober and I’m glad I went to Waypoint recovery Center for that treatment. The staff are dedicated to helping people suffering from addiction to recover and many of the staff and the guest speakers they bring in had a lot of sobriety success and experience to learn from. The property is beautiful and has plenty to keep you entertained and creates a great environment to socialize with other residents. Waypoint had a very diverse population of residents which strengthened my experience, but this also means there were some residents that were not as respectful or considerate of the shared living areas and amenities such as the gym which had weights and machines that were probably in good condition in the past but had been broken or stolen by some residents. Overall going to waypoint for treatment was a life changing experience that has helped me regain so much of my life back that I had lost during active addiction and aside from helping me whole a resident. I continue to get support through the alumni app, alumni events and weekly zoom meetings that are organized and overseen by Tara the alumni coordinator who has been essential to my continued recovery outside of the center. And my wife received a lot of support from Waypoint and continues to do so through the weekly family support meetings she continues to go to. Its a great organization and provides everything needed to be successful as long as your willing to put in the work to be sober.

Oh my, I was blown away by the stellar degree of treatment and professional mannerisms in this place. Learned SO much from them all. Went in expressly to detox off methadone and literally got my life changed radically. This is the best rehab I could conceive. If you go here, they make it very simple to let go of all cares. They've got you, and God is surely in Waypoint recovery. I would know because I'm an adopted child in His Kingdom. Waypoint Recovery is trust worthy. God bless Waypoint.
