Southeast Addiction Detox – Georgia

I’ve been to many treatment facilities and this one by far tops the rest. The BHT’s were very kind and compassionate. Some shared their own experiences in recovery which provided hope because once day I too hope to help others by sharing my own experience. My therapist David helped uncover some things I’ve held in for a very long time. My case manager Heather helped me with FMLA the first day she met with me and took the stress of losing my job away. I enjoyed John’s groups and his passion for recovery motivated even the ones who seemed they didn’t want to be there. Jessica the Director was very hands on and I felt I could go to her office and talk anytime I needed to. The food was good and I appreciated the option to get salads when I wanted them. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and I also enjoyed the fact that the TV’s had Netflix and other programs I could log into. Overall I can honestly say that I enjoyed my time here. Though I hope to never return unless it’s to stop by and say Thank you. 😊-Josh

Great overall place, the director of operations, Jessica, is absolutely amazing and makes the place run smoothly and makes you feel welcomed as family. The Clinical director, Sherri, is wonderful as well and takes the time to make sure all your medical needs are met and gives you exactly what you need to help with the detox and post care. Top to bottom all the staff is great from the nurses to the BHT's. Clean with good food and nice beds. For anyone who needs help, this is the place to go!

Incredible People Saving Lives – A True Lifeline in Rome, GA I can’t say enough about the incredible team at Southeast Detox in Rome, Georgia. Chris in admissions was awesome. John and Jessica run this place like absolute pros! When I was at my absolute lowest, drowning in addiction that had taken everything from me, these folks didn’t just offer treatment—they saved my life. From the moment I walked through the doors at 4300 Martha Berry Hwy, I was met with genuine compassion and a level of care that felt like family. The staff here are nothing short of heroes. The nurses (Stephanie, Abigail) and counselors (Amy and David) aren’t just professionals going through the motions; they’re incredible people who truly listen, who stay up late for those tough nights, and who celebrate every small victory like it’s their own. The technicians (Lindsay, Sierra, Carey, Lisa, Senia,Tony Rhiannon) My stay was medically supervised and tailored just for me, making what could have been a terrifying ordeal feel manageable and safe. The individual therapy sessions dug deep into the root causes, while the group support built a community that reminded me I wasn’t alone. What stands out most is how they empower you for the long haul. My case manager Heather equipped me with real tools—coping strategies, relapse prevention plans, and even connections to aftercare—that have kept me sober for months now. If you’re reading this and feeling hopeless, know that Southeast Detox is where miracles happen because of the hearts behind it. They saved my life, and I’ll be forever grateful. If you’re in Georgia and need help, start here—you won’t regret it.

I was fortunate to detox at Southeast for 7 days. I can't speak highly enough of this place. Great staff. Great environment. If you are struggling with substance abuse, this is the place to start your road to recovery. They have a 24hr Medical Staff, A premier break room that has all the snacks, coffee, fruit and breakfast that rivals a 5 Star hotel. Most facilities don't allow these perks but they offer: Free community cigarettes to help your urges, 2 Hour Phone, Tablet or Laptop time daily. Spacious rooms & Laundry Service. The only thing that you need to bring is YOURSELF and maybe an extra hoodie ( depending on your temperament - it can get a bit cold). But but be prepared to transformed. Plus they'll arrange a car service to pick you up.

I have completed the entire 28 day program here at Southeast. I can not express my gratitude enough to the entire staff here. No matter what was happening with me or any other client the all star staff was primed and ready to help in any way they could. The staff here makes all the difference in your treatment! The team of nurses, techs, therapists, and management were all so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. A few staff members that were integral in my personal stay here at south east are Carey who welcomed me in with a smile and a kind demeanor as soon as I arrived in the parking lot. The techs Savannah and Sierra were always willing to help no matter what was going on, they take their job seriously and know just how to facilitate a healthy recovery journey. Kerri, Stephanie, and Lacey are all amazing nurses who always serve you amazing medical services all while putting a smile on clients faces. My therapist David and case manager Courtney were extremely professional and helped me every step of the way in my current and continuing care curriculum. John and the rest of the management team do a wonderful job keeping the facility running smoothly and are always available to answer any questions or fulfill any reasonable requests with a smile on their faces! I can not express my thanks enough to the staff I have mentioned by name and the entire team here at south east detox. They make this place more than a detox facility, they create a family dynamic that harbors a fantastic environment for recovery. I would and will suggest this place to anyone and everyone that finds themselves needing some help with their recovery. There isn’t a superior facility or team anywhere.
