Southeast Addiction Center has helped save my life. I'm an older recovering alcoholic. They hold you accountable here with breathalyzer and urinalysis tests five days a week. Their therapists are the best I've ever had. You have group therapy and individual counseling to ensure your mental and spiritual growth. Accommodations are very comfortable and not crowded. If you want to recover successfully, give them a call.
I LOVE this place. They have helped me twice already and everytime it’s such a pleasant experience. I have been to a lot of places & this one is special. I’ve also had a lot of therapist in my life but again, nothing compares to this place. They actually care and it’s obvious. I’ll be forever grateful for them. I now have almost a year sober and I couldn’t have done with without southeast. ❤️
I am extremely happy that I chose SouthEast for my detox and residential. The entire staff is so caring and loving! It is so clear that they like helping and have great experience. I had searched for a detox close to home, but after checking reviews on Google, I chose them. This was my first experience in such a place, but everyone I talk to, who was there and have been somewhere else said this is the best place they have ever been to out of all the others. Highly recommend. Special shout out to ALL the staff, love you. Sorry it took so long to write a review, I was constantly thinking of doing it, but yeah….
Southeast Addiction Center truly stands out as a beacon of hope and healing for those struggling with addiction. From the moment you walk through the doors, you are greeted by a warm and compassionate staff who genuinely care about your well-being. The environment is inviting and supportive, making it easier for individuals to open up about their challenges.
What sets this center apart is its holistic approach to treatment. The programs are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, incorporating evidence-based therapies alongside emotional support. The counselors are not only knowledgeable but also empathetic, guiding clients through their recovery journeys with patience and understanding.
The sense of community at Southeast Addiction Center is palpable. Clients find a safe space to share their experiences and connect with others who are on similar paths. This camaraderie fosters lasting friendships and encourages accountability, which is crucial in the recovery process.
Moreover, the aftercare support provided ensures that individuals continue to thrive even after completing their programs. The ongoing resources and support networks are invaluable, helping clients transition back into everyday life with confidence.
Overall, Southeast Addiction Center is more than just a treatment facility; it is a nurturing sanctuary that empowers individuals to reclaim their lives. For anyone seeking a path to recovery, this center offers not just hope, but a tangible way forward. I wholeheartedly recommend Southeast Addiction Center to anyone in need of support and healing.
Southeast Addiction Center is phenomenal! I first went to Southeast after leaving Atlanta Detox Center. After ADC nearly killed me by overdosing my drug taper protocol I went to Southeast in worse opiate withdrawal than when I first checked into detox. I was seen by the doctor on site the first day I checked into Southeast and he was incredible. He helped make sure I was in a place where I could be focused and active in the groups and meetings. He put me on a taper protocol to keep me from being in full blown withdrawal while trying to participate. He was patient with me, attentive to my needs, and to date has been the only doctor I’ve ever seen minus one other doctor, who listened to me and came up with solutions to my issues that I agreed with. He was such a professional and was open to trying different approaches. If something wasn’t working or I didn’t agree with the call he made, he would present more options. I LOVED him! He didn’t jam his schooling down my throat. He listened and he cared. My counselor was incredible too. She was also so patient and listened to every complaint or problem I had, no matter how big or small, trivial or detrimental. At the time I was there the house and facility staff were kind and respectful, which is a rare gem in the recovery industry. I’ve been through several recovery centers throughout my life, to many to want to admit, and only two have been, in my opinion, professional and honest. Southeast wasn’t after my money. They weren’t just cycling another head. They kept things simple and basic. I believe that is the right approach to dealing with newly sober junkies and drunks. The other clients were supportive and I’d say in the 6 months I spent there by choice, there were 70+% of the clients who were actually trying to recover. The program director was awesome! She worked closely with me to ensure my needs were met and that I could still provide for my family. I was a dual diagnosis client. Although Southeast Addiction is a rehabilitation center for drug and alcohol addiction, they helped me work on my PTSD a ton too. Before I got sober, I was living in a nightmare world. High and drunk everyday, having terrifying nightmares and night terrors nightly, violent outbursts in public. I would find myself waking up strangling my wife and had no idea I was doing it. The PTSD had gotten real bad. So bad I was scared of myself. Every day I would wake up I would be afraid of what I might do or what I might have done without knowing. I wanted to die. Southeast saved my life. They were very cautious when dealing with the horrifying traumas of my past. They didn’t try to help in areas that they didn’t think they could either. If it was something they didn’t think they should try to tackle they would give me direction on who to see about it. They even had aftercare plans ready for when I left. Several different plans which they worked on with me over the last month of my stay. I have 14 months sober now, give it take a few days and owe it all to Southeast and most of all to God. Shout out to Lenn, Jenn, Autumn, Justin, and Nick! Love y’all! Oh I forgot to mention the alumni program. When you graduate you can attend the alumni program. Which is amazing. Not every place has one and my hat is off to those places that do. Fellowship is SUPER important to one’s success. Hope all that helps. I could say a million more reasons why Southeast Addiction should be your choice but it’s already such a long review I may have lost a lot of readers as is. I graduated a year ago or so and things do change. I say that to bring up the point that you still should not just take a review as an answer to your decision. Go see the place for yourself. Ask questions. See if it’s the right fit. What worked for me may not be the same as what you may need. So go check them out and see.
