Vista Taos is an amazing recovery center. I really benefited and appreciated the holistic approach of the program. There was ample time to heal and learn and enjoy throughout the programming. The staff was really helpful from the RAs to the therapists. This place really provided an organic and safe place to heal and recover. As a young alcohol and drug counselor, I referred my first client to Vista Taos Renewal Center in 1997. Over these 25 or so years, I have referred many clients to this fine facility located in the beautiful Taos NM area, consistently with positive results. If you, or someone you know, is in need of treatment, these folks have consistently provided life saving treatment for a very long time and I would put them on my short list of facilities providing this sort of treatment in NM.
I went to Vista Taos in June of this year. This was my 2nd time doing an inpatient treatment program for alcoholism. I was immediately welcomed and felt part of a family. Everyone from the staff to the other clients were kind and sensitive and I felt immediately comfortable. I got so much out of Vistas program. They really understand addiction and most of the staff that works there are in recovery themselves, which for me made a huge difference. The classes were informative and helpful. The food was delicious. Especially with Covid19 it was wonderful to have contact with others on a daily basis. When I drank I stayed completely isolated in my house. I would highly recommend Vista Taos to anyone looking for a treatment center. The scenery is amazing and peaceful. They also took us on outings twice a week to get out and see nature. They counselors really understand addiction and what it takes to get sober. They also have sober living for after the treatment if you want or need the extra time. Although I have a long road ahead of me I’m happy to report I’m still sober and this is because of Vista Taos.
Vista Taos is an incredible organization with talented and caring staff. I can’t thank the counselors and staff enough for the help they provided when I thought all hope was lost. I highly recommend Vista Taos to anyone who is seeking an alcohol and drug treatment center for themselves or a loved one.
Vista is a great place if your looking for fellowship and spirituality in recovery. Vista provided many tools for me to understand my disease and move forward and stay grounded in my path in soberity. Vista is a quite and peaceful place with an awesome view of the Rocky Mountain Range. If you liked what I shared in this review then this is the place for you. Thank you Vista Taos.
