Anyone looking to help themselves or a loved one should definitely give Midwest Detox a call. I recently lived in the long term residential program for over a month and it was exactly what I needed in my life. It is a very welcoming, positive atmosphere that promotes personal growth and recovery. The staff are all incredibly kind, caring, and build connections with the patients. They make you feel at home and as comfortable as possible which is great. You don’t normally see that in other facilities. The therapists Ryan, Sophie, and Jess help you understand addiction in your life and help you build a plan to be successful in recovery after treatment. The doctors there also help patients get on medication if needed, to assist with recovery which is nice. Out of the other facilities I’ve been to, Midwest Detox is by far the best!

I have struggled with alcohol for about 20 years and needed help. Having a husband and baby at home, it was difficult to leave them during detox, but I did what was necessary so I could be a better Mom and wife. I highly recommend this place. A special thank you to one of the staff members named Sophie who is a wonderful person to confide in and look to for advice…she’ll always have your back. I’m grateful to have met everyone at this facility who have helped me through my journey to greater health, happiness and more importantly, sobriety.

I've struggled with alcoholism and addiction since adolescence. Unfortunately, I worked in a similar setting for just over two years and unfortunately I've had the "opportunity" to attend treatment centers in multiple states throughout the country. I have never left a review at any of those centers. The staff here is genuinely, emotionally invested in each and every person that walks through those doors. Ryan the clinical director is brilliant, charming and makes it clear that the sobriety of every client is his number one concern. Sophie, who is the therapist, has a way of listening and making people feel heard in a way that radiates empathy. She's an amazing resource and never stops working for her clients. Jess the substance abuse counselor bends over backwards to make the people getting treatment here feel loved, valuable, and capable of success. The nursing staff will make you comfortable throughout your stay while fostering your individual treatment goals. Perhaps more valuable than that though, they will show you love. The techs, who you will end up spending your time with treat everyone equally and work hard to get to know each and every person on a personal level. This place helped me keep my child, stay out of jail, find a place to live and showed me how to make friends again. I would recommend this treatment to my closest loved ones.

Being my first time in any kind of treatment center, of course I was scared and didn’t know what to expect. That being said, the experience has been wonderful. The staff is super friendly and made going through detox very manageable. The therapy and daily groups were very friendly and comfortable. Much support was available and I learned so many coping skills and believe I will be successful on my sober journey. They even have AA meetings 3 days a week that is open to the public. I felt spoiled with the meal plans, and stocked fridges for drinks. You can even order in from doordash etc. if you desire. Sometimes food was even ordered in or we were taken out. They are very accommodating with dietary needs as well. Weekend outing like, bowling, movie, and sober activities are great. I appreciated being treated like an adult and not being babysat on my every move. 3 lounges are also available for movies as well as pool, ping pong and a variety of games . The hardest part is when residents graduate and leave. It’s truly like a family.

I went through their residential treatment program for 28 days and have nothing but great things to say about the program and all of the staff. Sophie is a wonderful person and therapist, her group is very helpful and therapeutic. Along with her individual sessions being one of the best I’ve received. Ryan as well is very knowledgeable and relatable on all topics and makes all the ins and outs of the root of issues easily understandable.
