This was the first time I have ever been to a Detox program. The staff was super nice and helped with all my needs to make it as painless as possible. They all go above and beyond to make the whole process as painless as possible. Whoever is doing the hiring of staff at this location is spot on. Even with many shifts, as it's 24/7 covered, I did not meet one person I did not like. On top of the daily group sessions that really sealed the deal with the program. Even though I was a short timer as I was just there to detox, everyone welcomed me with open arms. The only thing that is a negative for my experience is NAME TAGS on employees. When they have multiple shifts and people, it's hard to recall names. Especially when you are in a bad state when first coming on site. If it's a budget concern, I can start a Go Fund Me account to get name tags for the employees.

As a person who has been to most of the facilities in this area, I can honestly say midwest detox is by far the best one. The staff as a whole is very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to meet not only the patient's clinical needs, but also all their basic needs in order to make them as comfortable as possible throughout the entire process. You are seen as a person there, not just a number or a way for them to get paid. They CARE! Thank you to everyone working there that helped me start to get my life back together, all of you are fantastic at what you do! -Chris w.

I have struggled with alcohol for about 20 years and needed help. Having a husband and baby at home, it was difficult to leave them during detox, but I did what was necessary so I could be a better Mom and wife. I highly recommend this place. A special thank you to one of the staff members named Sophie who is a wonderful person to confide in and look to for advice…she’ll always have your back. I’m grateful to have met everyone at this facility who have helped me through my journey to greater health, happiness and more importantly, sobriety.

Anyone looking to help themselves or a loved one should definitely give Midwest Detox a call. I recently lived in the long term residential program for over a month and it was exactly what I needed in my life. It is a very welcoming, positive atmosphere that promotes personal growth and recovery. The staff are all incredibly kind, caring, and build connections with the patients. They make you feel at home and as comfortable as possible which is great. You don’t normally see that in other facilities. The therapists Ryan, Sophie, and Jess help you understand addiction in your life and help you build a plan to be successful in recovery after treatment. The doctors there also help patients get on medication if needed, to assist with recovery which is nice. Out of the other facilities I’ve been to, Midwest Detox is by far the best!
