The Healing Place

The medical staff is really good and they make sure you're comfortable. Ralphie was the best RN I've ever come across. It's smaller than most places, population about 12 while I was there. I didn't get much from my therapist, his name is Curtis. Seemed like he wanted to make sure you're in treatment and he's not kind of attitude. Jennifer, the young tech helped me more than the facilitator or the cheap cologne smelling therapist that saw me once the entire time I was there. John was a nice laid back tech that you could talk to as well. Like I said, only speaking from my experience. Jackson, the main man that oversees the place is very down to earth. Helped me several times when I was ready to hit the door. He went out of his way to break the monotony of sitting in a house all day once you finished Detox and were cleared for outings (it's then called Residential) We went to an alligator Swamp on fan boats. Swimming at the ocean. They bring in chiropractors, do acupuncture, full body massages also! Gabby, case manager was professional and genuine. She just started working my 2nd week there. She helped me out more than most. If you want somewhere quiet, to relax and reflect. This is your place. If you want a place that is just going to run you through like a number and send you to the places they partner with, go with Beacon or Level Up

I have been to detox before. Never have I felt the genuine love and concern for my mental and physical well-being as I have from ALL of the staff here, including the techs who will stop what they're doing to listen to you. That's important in recovery. I recommend The Healing place to anyone struggling with substance and mental health. Also, a big shout out to the sister facility, Still Mind, which is another great place to go also with wonderful staff. Big shout out to techs, nurses, therapist, and to Kristen, who has been a big inspiration to me.

Great place with a caring staff. Laughed a lot. Learned even more. Highly recommend for people who are serious about getting sober!

The Healing Place literally saved my life. I would recommend this place to family and friends in a heartbeat. The staff truly have hearts and care.

Let me just start by saying how thankful I am that I found The Healing Place! I never have felt so much love in a place before coming here for treatment! The staff is awesome and all deserve an A++ rating. They all work so hard for their clients and I can't express enough appreciation for the care I received. I love them all and it's thanks to all of them I have a chance at a new life. Every single one of them care, from the top to the bottom! Their nursing staff, behavioral techs, case management, and clinical staff all gave me the absolute best experience during my stay! Truly thank you all from the bottom of my heart!
