The Haven New England

I started my journey with the Haven New England in 2021. My last time was early months of 2023. From the very first time through this (hopefully) last time was an unbelievably warm experience. From the first phone call to me walking out the door. These people absolutely without a doubt made everything possible in my life that it is today. This is the place you walk in and everyone makes you feel at home. All of the staff from the intake coordinators, to the nursing, to the doctors, to the therapists, to the group sessions, to the aftercare coordinators, to the cooks in the kitchen and everything and everyone else in between. They are impeccable people with huge hearts and only have your best interest in mind. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and heard. The place itself is just absolutely beautiful and comfortable inside. The beds, the bathrooms, the rooms, the common area and kitchen are immaculate. Extensive care is taken into cleaning and it definitely shows. There’s always an open door for you to walk in for whatever you’re going through. These people have truly become my family and I cannot recommend this place any higher. If you or a loved one are struggling, this is the place to be without a doubt. If ever (hopefully not) I’m ever in need again, The Haven New England is the only place I trust and would go back to.

It has been just about a year since i was at the Haven. the haven was my jumping off point to sobriety. the people their are amazing. the facility is top notch. the food is almost too good. it has made me want to have a personal chef in my home. the greatest take though is just how much everyone cares and makes you feel like there is hope. they show you its never too late to turn yourself around and become the person you want to be and not the person you are. i am very grateful for my experience with them. i have been sober over a year now and i will continue to use the teaches and motivation i received from all the great people at the Haven.

The Haven helped me finally get and stay sober, after decades and dozens of trips to detox/aftercare at other facilities. The Haven is an amazing facility with incredible staff that really do care for you. From the moment you step through the doors, you are greeted with compassion and the help you really need and deserve. The nursing staff goes out of the way to care for you at your lowest, always with a smile. The facility is VERY clean and kept up. In fact, the janitorial staff might be the best I've seen in any facility. The food is top level from friendly chefs (chefs kiss). They have an outdoor area for fresh air, a common area with a large t.v., books, rooms with private televisions and headsets, a bathroom in your room, and program rooms within a close distance to everything so you don't have to go far when you don't feel well. These things all matter a lot when you need to get clean. Everyone from staff to other clients make this facility a notable and beneficial place to seek treatment options. This place is great. The staff truly does care. They were instrumental in my process. There were some minor issues during my stay, but nothing major (hence the 4 stars). The nurses are incredible, the doctor actually listens, and case management helps in any and every way they can. Shout out Alison, Anthony, Mikey Legs, and everyone else who loved me through the process! Oh and the cleaning crew! They don’t get enough recognition but they keep this place spotless. Everything you will need is here, it really comes down to how much you want it.

I had an excellent experience while detoxing at The Haven. The entirety of the staff is patient and considerate. They were all receptive to my needs and concerns. There was no difficulty in getting what I needed/wanted. Not to mention the facility is immaculate and the food is great.
