What Our Patients Say About Us
Reviews
I had an overall great experience. I have been in and out of treatment for almost three years. The staff were friendly and helpful. The therapists and nurse practitioners here know what they’re really doing. The case workers and directors seem to be always on top of things. For example, I came in here with no money and some torn up shoes and they offered to get me new shoes. Got some Walmart kicks and now I can step towards the right direction.
I had the unfortunate pleasure and that's not against the establishment, but because of my unfortunate addiction. I had the pleasure. Let's say of being in the New England facility, and I have to tell you if for a small facility. It was pretty top-notch. I mean, the nursing staff there was awesome, especially the dude that comes in on Sunday with the doggy. The chef staff they were great. Their food was great. The counselors are awesome. The teachings are good. I want to say I got at least 75% knowledge. The other percentage was just me being stubborn. Now I try to listen but on that note.I am proud to say that because of new england I have been sober for 7 months
They really do care about your health.Don't let anybody tell you, otherwise, because a lot of people will talk and they don't agree with it.They're just there just to clean up sometimes. And to get to the next bender, you get out of it what you put into it, and even though I have been through rehab 3 times all with the haveha2 in New Jersey and one in New England.
I finally was able to overcome my addiction. So, yes, I do recommend if you're having issues and need somewhere to go go to the haven. It's like the hilton of rehabs
I was looking for a different experience in treatment - location, curriculum, personalities - and I found it at The Haven New England. The staff are compassionate and knowledgeable, the curriculum is robust and the groups are engaging. Case Manager Mike is down to earth and full of positive energy. Clinician Jon is incredibly congenial and speaks from the heart with relevant experience and knowledge. Clinical Director Dave creates a comfortable space to engage and share, while processing one’s life experiences in addiction. The rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful and there is always a fun activity to participate in. The facility is a very comfortable size, impeccably spotless, and the accommodations are high class. The food is of the highest quality. Would recommend to anyone in need of change surrounding addiction.
The Haven took me under their wing from the moment I called in for help. The staff there were absolutely amazing—especially Laura, Helson, Joe and Nick! They were accommodating and you could tell how much they wanted to help each and every one of us! Kim, my case manager, went above and beyond from day one to make sure I could facetime my toddler every day which pushed me to keep on going! Mike in case management was also incredible in helping me out on days where my case manager was off. The programming at the Haven truly helped me rediscover myself and have never felt more like myself! Melissa and Treasure in aftercare were also great in helping me to facilitate aftercare and were so helpful whenever needed! Alison from the alumni team has been checking up on me constantly, as well as my family, and I can definitely tell that I will receive extended support from them! I had some of the best care from the nurses—especially Debbie, Kim, Michelle, Robert and Brigette! The Haven gave me my life back and I will forever be grateful for the incredible team there!
The Haven gave me my life back! I walked into that facility a broken soul, desperate to feel better and to regain my life of recovery. I spent 22 days within those walls and I have never given myself a bigger gift. I wanted to stop using but no matter how I tried, I could not stop on my own. The staff welcomed me and immediately I felt comfortable. Sure there were moments I did not want to be there, but once completing treatment I am so glad I stayed the length of time I did. Each day I felt a little better and most of the other clients were amazing. I gained so many friendships that will last a lifetime and we all helped eachother heal a day at a time. Big shout outs to Treasure, Emily, Kim, Helson, Dave, and Joe. Dave, Carl and Erika on the night staff were saviors too. They all impacted my time there more than I could express. Most of the nurses were amazing as well and the chefs were great too.I hope to go back one day and inspire another person to dig deep and crawl out of the depths of addiction. It is possible and there is a solution.
