What Our Patients Say About Us

I am still in awe of the incredible experience I had at The Haven of New England. From the moment I stepped foot on their beautiful campus, I knew I was in good hands. The facility is stunningly clean and well-maintained, making it a true haven (pun intended!) for those seeking recovery.

But what truly sets The Haven apart is the staff. Every single person I encountered, from the admissions team to the medical professionals to the support staff, were nothing short of amazing. They were warm, caring, and genuinely invested in my well-being. Their customer service was top-notch, always going above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and supported throughout my stay.

And the food? Absolutely delicious! I was blown away by the variety and quality of the meals, which were not only nutritious but also presented with love and care.

But what I'll always cherish most about my experience at The Haven is the impact it had on my life. Their compassionate and expert care helped me overcome my struggles and gave me the tools and confidence to thrive in recovery. For that, I will be eternally grateful.

The Haven of New England has earned a permanent spot in my heart, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a safe, supportive, and life-changing rehabilitation experience. Thank you, Haven team - you truly are a haven of hope and healing!

The Haven is unfortunately not the first detox and residential program I’ve been to, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

The Haven specializes in making an uncomfortable process as safe and comfortable as possible.

The facility is new, clean, snacks are available 24/7 and well stocked, meals are solid, and each room has TVs hooked up with streaming services.

Most of the staff are second to none and went above and beyond to help me. Specific examples:
1) A recovery support specialist setting up my dinner on a side table next to my bed when I was too run down to go to the cafeteria;
2) A nurse helping me with a concern that came up overnight, calling the doctor, and providing quick treatment;
3) Zach for taking time away from management duties to talk to me 1:1 after a rough day;
4) Jonathon leaving his staff meeting early to facilitate a call with my family;
5) Alison for helping me to get stuff I had forgotten back to me within a day, and checking in on me periodically after discharge - the list could go on.

I’m grateful for the level of attention, care, concern, and respect the clinical & recovery staff gave me.

I’m grateful for being met where I was at.

I’m grateful for the everyone at the Haven - they meant more to me than they knew.

I cannot recommend The Haven New England in Worcester, Massachusetts highly enough. During a challenging time in my life, when I was struggling with alcohol dependency, The Haven was truly a lifesaver. Their detoxification program was the first step in my recovery journey, followed by a 28-day stay in their residential program. The entire experience was transformative—I completed the full stay, worked through the 12 steps of recovery, and connected with a supportive sponsor in the community. The staff at The Haven, from my counselor to the entire team, were incredibly supportive and caring, making my recovery process a wonderful experience. It was also a pleasure to meet and bond with other clients who were on similar paths. The facilities are not only clean and in impeccable condition, but the food is also amazing. They promote a healthy lifestyle with opportunities for exercise and healthy eating, and they accommodate smoking for those who choose it. I am immensely grateful for the support and high-quality care provided by The Haven, and I wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone in need of guidance on their journey to recovery.

I had an overall great experience. I have been in and out of treatment for almost three years. The staff were friendly and helpful. The therapists and nurse practitioners here know what they’re really doing. The case workers and directors seem to be always on top of things. For example, I came in here with no money and some torn up shoes and they offered to get me new shoes. Got some Walmart kicks and now I can step towards the right direction.

I was looking for a different experience in treatment - location, curriculum, personalities - and I found it at The Haven New England. The staff are compassionate and knowledgeable, the curriculum is robust and the groups are engaging. Case Manager Mike is down to earth and full of positive energy. Clinician Jon is incredibly congenial and speaks from the heart with relevant experience and knowledge. Clinical Director Dave creates a comfortable space to engage and share, while processing one’s life experiences in addiction. The rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful and there is always a fun activity to participate in. The facility is a very comfortable size, impeccably spotless, and the accommodations are high class. The food is of the highest quality. Would recommend to anyone in need of change surrounding addiction.

The Haven gave me my life back! I walked into that facility a broken soul, desperate to feel better and to regain my life of recovery. I spent 22 days within those walls and I have never given myself a bigger gift. I wanted to stop using but no matter how I tried, I could not stop on my own. The staff welcomed me and immediately I felt comfortable. Sure there were moments I did not want to be there, but once completing treatment I am so glad I stayed the length of time I did. Each day I felt a little better and most of the other clients were amazing. I gained so many friendships that will last a lifetime and we all helped eachother heal a day at a time. Big shout outs to Treasure, Emily, Kim, Helson, Dave, and Joe. Dave, Carl and Erika on the night staff were saviors too. They all impacted my time there more than I could express. Most of the nurses were amazing as well and the chefs were great too.I hope to go back one day and inspire another person to dig deep and crawl out of the depths of addiction. It is possible and there is a solution. Danielle CG

My time and experience at The Haven was greatly appreciated. The skills and care they provide is second to none. The food is exceptional. My case managers were critical in making sure that I left their doors confident and prepared for my next step. The group sessions are key to understanding yourself and providing you with tools to carry forward in your everyday life. Special shoutouts to Dave, Zach, Jonathan, Emily, Kim, and Michelle.

I had the unfortunate pleasure and that's not against the establishment, but because of my unfortunate addiction. I had the pleasure. Let's say of being in the New England facility, and I have to tell you if for a small facility. It was pretty top-notch. I mean, the nursing staff there was awesome, especially the dude that comes in on Sunday with the doggy. The chef staff they were great. Their food was great. The counselors are awesome. The teachings are good. I want to say I got at least 75% knowledge. The other percentage was just me being stubborn. Now I try to listen but on that note.I am proud to say that because of new england I have been sober for 7 months They really do care about your health.Don't let anybody tell you, otherwise, because a lot of people will talk and they don't agree with it.They're just there just to clean up sometimes.And to get to the next bender, you get out of it what you put into it, and even though I have been through rehab 3 times all with the haveha2 in New Jersey and one in New England. I finally was able to overcome my addiction.So, yes, I do recommend if you're having issues and need somewhere to go go to the haven.It's like the hilton of rehabs
