Skyward Recovery in Sugar Land truly helped me get back on track after my relapse. I want to give a huge shoutout to my counselor, Ms. Kim Isaac — her understanding, patience, and support made a real difference in my recovery, and I honestly couldn’t have done this without her. The techs, cooks, and entire staff were always supportive and welcoming, and Stephanie, the floor manager, did a great job keeping everything running smoothly. The facility is magnificent and far exceeded my expectations of a recovery facility. Firstly, I was allowed to bring my fur baby with me which was a wonderful comfort to me. I don’t think I would have done as well without having her with me. The facilities are clean and well-kempt. The staff is caring, understanding, and genuinely invested in your unique recovery journey (Jacob and Sunny are phenomenal). The therapists authentically understand the journey to recovery and ensure everyone feels respected and heard. While your recovery is taken seriously and put in the work, they make the process fun and relatable. The physician and nursing staff is thorough and available 24/7 - they care about each patient and their bedside manner is impeccable. They are NOT autonomous robots like you see with a lot of other medical facilities. Nursing even does occasional group sessions on the medical aspects of recovery, post-recovery preventative care. You are even sent home with a supply of medications to help bridge the gap between discharge and your own provider. And the food… where do I start? I have travelled all over the country for work, eating at high end hotels and restaurants yet the thrice daily meal here far exceeded in quality and variety. The thrice daily, freshly cooked international cuisines were amazing! They also have juices, sodas, flavored water, coffee, teas, high end snacks, and even ice cream available 24/7. They have working washers and dryers and even provide Tide pods and dryer sheets. The outside grounds are peaceful and the outside activities during and after group sessions are relaxing. They have karaoke, acupuncture, movie nights, and yoga among other activities. I highly recommend this facility!

What an incredible, amazing, wonderful, beautiful, awesome place and community this place is! I was searching for a PHP/IOP/Sober living facility for weeks to help me continue on my path of recovery and as soon as I made my first phone call and spoke to Jacob I knew it my heart I had finally found the perfect spot for me. The entire staff was welcoming and helpful and supportive, the group sessions along with my peers helped me fully understand this disease and without them I’m not sure if I would’ve made it. My appreciation and gratitude for this program are through the roof and I would HIGHLY suggest anyone who needs help with addiction and mental health and staying sober to contact this place. They are #1 in my book and again I cannot give them enough thanks and praise for everything they’ve done for me!

Yes Cort was a beautiful man that helped me when I needed it. A few years ago I had a problem with drinking. And the program held me so much. I came out when I went in and Was just on the cust on the way to dieing. And when I came out 3 months later . Well nobody could even recognize me Because I was 200 pounds and strong as hell .but I really want to give a heads up for the young lady that taught us yoga. Because she was there every day and she picked my spirits up every day. She even told me that I could be a physical instructor. Because I got so big in the phasilty. But she had me stretched. So much in yoga so I hope she is still there. Because I really like her she just started to invoke me in the real world of simplicity . Right before I got out of the program. She was the best person there. I forgot about miss Kim. She was so great too. I wanted to become a partner with them and take care of them when I did my 90 days. Because there was trouble there and I just wanted to take care of miss Kim and the other girls that worked there too. And they were rooting for me to get a job there after I did my 90 days clean. Well I love all of them. Because they loved me too.

If you are reading this and you or a loved one are in a crisis it will get better. This facility is focused on making the client as comfortable as possible as they begin their journey. Some of the counselors and techs there are next level. It offers a great environment to implement positive daily habits that can continue after leaving the facility. No matter which treatment center you choose the responsibility is on you or your loved one to put in the work. If you are willing this facility will provide you with the necessary tools for positive growth and change.
