The nurses are the best at what they do! Nicole, Leilani, and Shayla and amazing at helping you be healthy but most importantly to do it safely. Their kindness is above and beyond. My Counselor Tammy is the absolute perfect person to help others start their recovery. I will forever be grateful to Tammy for her guidance and telling me her story. I feel a real connection to her and others here. I would be lost without all of them. If you are even reading this then you need to call them. I promise they will get you through Detox and start you on your Journey.
This is the best detox/rehab place hands down. Wonderful treatment team, facilitator's, therapy, and atmosphere. They truly care. Great food wonderful kitchen team and super clean facility

I cannot stress enough the level of impact each staff member had on me during my 2 week stay at SCAT. Addiction has been a 15+ year struggle for me, with multiple overdoses, multiple arrests, countless attempts to find the answer to this thing. The care of the staff is unmatched. Their ability to keep calm while dealing with the madness of us all going through withdrawal was incredible. They lead by example and show us the wonderful life that recovery can bring us all. What to expect: Delicious homemade food, yoga, meditation, dog therapy, art therapy, the best therapists, kind and loving nurses, caring techs who will have you laughing your ass off, and an overall family environment that brings everyone together and gives you hope when you feel like you have lost everything because of your addiction. You will be given the opportunity to experience every type of recovery program Greenville has to offer thru the outside meetings that are brought in each day. And you will be shown in a way that simplifies what recovery really means; we are unable to get thru life the way we have been trying to, but there is a way to fight this thing if you’re ready to give up the reins and accept the help. If you’re ready to not only stop using, but be shown how to live a good life no matter what your past looks like, please have this place at the top of your list of destinations to start the journey. I honestly felt sad when it was my turn to leave my new family at SCAT. I have never felt that way leaving a detox or rehab. That is the difference that sets this place above the rest. I won’t list any particular names in my review, because every single employee had a wonderfully positive influence on my experience. I will never forget, never regret the decision to give this place a try. Thank you, SCAT, for showing me that the key to unlock these chains of addiction were inside of me this whole time. From the minute I arrived at the property, I was genuinely welcomed. I arrived a little bit nervous, but once I entered the home like atmosphere, and NOT a hospital setting, I was good to go.
The staff, from top to bottom, are incredible. The nurses are here 24/7 and this place takes care of you in every way possible! The food is great, and that is all I can really say, besides this is the nicest place that I have been to.
I pray for this place, and I pray that whoever may be reading this gets the help that is desperately needed!

Anyone reading this trying to decide if they want to start their detox, I strongly recommend making the choice to come to scat. I came here not knowing what to expect and they have embraced me like family. The staff is amazing and have allowed me to be myself and grow in this process naturally. I've never been comfortable in my own skin and they erased any fear or doubt I had immediately. The counselors are endearing and empathetic and case management helped put outside stress at ease. The techs and peer support have working knowledge of this process and it shows. The chefs are top notch and happy to be here. It's the perfect environment to rest and begin the journey back to health and sanity. God bless every aspect of the south Carolina addiction treatment center.
