South Carolina Addiction Treatment Detox & Residential

SCAT is the absolute best place if your are going to Detox. All the staff, and i mean ALL THE STAFF are incredible. I don't know if i could pick one person out so therefore i will give a shout out to everyone. This is my first time in Detox and because of all the staff it will be my last time. From the moment i arrived until the time i left i felt that everyone genuinely cared about all the clients who were there. They went out of there way to make sure all our needs were met. i Like to refer to my experience as being a part of the breakfast club. I also must mention the kitchen staff, David, Antonio, Jamar and Lonzo. It was as close to restaurant quality as you can get. Also the group meetings were very helpful. I especially felt connected to James T. I would be remiss if i did not mention Lisa t, Claire S, Jessica A, Ryan C, Will B, Amanda M, James B, Debbie T, Sacara M, and all of the nursing team. This program as well as the faith i have in God saved my life. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who is fighting addiction. Fortunately i live close to the facility and look forward to volunteering in the future.

I have I’ve been struggling with addiction for over 15 years this is probably my fourth or fifth Recovery place ever coming too. I was bought in the moment I walked through the door. The staff will and Diane was very friendly and helpful. They made sure I was completely comfortable and not needing for anything. It was like being home with mom. I was stable after 3 days after coming off fentanyl and good to go on the fourth day. I will say I am so happy I made the decision to come here because it literally saved my life. I’m actually happy again in my life going to another place after leaving here. The best part they even drove to Charleston to pick me up . My experience at The South Carolina addiction treatment center gave me a new perspective on how my addiction could be thought and handled. After treatment here. It gave me some hope to an end to my addiction and a future for myself. They give you the proper tools and support to move forward in life! Plenty of great food and activities throughout the day and also a well trained and fully capable medical staff to make sure you come out on top. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who want a seemless transfer in to recovery!

This place is unlike any other. Every experience I’ve had with treatment has made me never want to go again. This experience has made me want to dive head first into my recovery. These people are special. The administrators April and Will are absolutely fantastic. They have a true passion for what they do. It’s not just a job. My therapists Tammy and Diane have been the best and realest I’ve experienced. They speak from the heart and help me dive into mine. It’s not just a job. The technicians Ryan and James have been so impactful on my life. The way they care and offer help to those in need is a beautiful thing to see and experience. It’s not just a job. The Chefs are wonderful. The food is delicious. They make everything fresh and nothing is frozen. I’ve eaten more than I have in years. It’s not just a job. I would 100% recommend this place for anyone who wants to change the unchangeable. Take control of your life and your destiny.
