I miss sandstone already, it was a great 2 week program for me and I was sad to leave. Now I’m starting PHP through sandstone. They really really helped me a lot.

Sandstone Care is an amazing, life-changing experience. If you or a loved one is dealing with addiction, of any kind, this is the place to be. While the focus here is on drugs and alcohol, Sandstone helps you discipline your mind and body to become the most successful version of yourself. With love in your heart and Sandstone as the driver, your ride through life will be amazing! Thank you for everything you’ve done for me, guys! I’ll remember it forever.

Every single nurse is amazing and accommodating. Not to mention the private chef got us with that good grub every lunch and dinner. Every nurse/therapists hosting meetings have history of addiction so they all understand what it feels like to be in our position (don't get it twisted to think that you can take advantage of them). I was also very lucky to come here at a time where there were all friendly patients that I created an amazing bond and connection to. Don't be afraid to talk to any of the nurses simply as friend to talk and joke with.

10/10!! Coming into rehab of any sorts is absolutely nerve racking. I was anxious, scared, alone but I was sick and needed the absolute best care to help guide me through this disease. When I first walked in I was not sure what to expect or what to compare it to so I was walking in blind. From the very beginning through the intake I knew this was the place for me as they immediately made me feel relaxed (as much as possible during one of the hardest times in my life). I soon realized I had a lot of people walking by my side and supporting me from my family to this facility. The staff, I literally cannot say enough kind words nor could I ever thank them enough. Every single last one of them has played a role in one way or another on this journey. The staff have made this place very inviting with their kindness, warm hearts, great advice, laughs, jokes, hugs, smiles. You all helped give me life back and for that this place and the staff are forever in my heart not to mention the amazing patients that I now can say are friends. I walked down the sidewalk into Sandstone scared but walked out with so much knowledge on how to manage and cope and ready to use all of this on my new journey of regained sobriety. Any reviews dissing this place remember, you only get out what you put in and whole heartedly want. If you don’t succeed here then good luck on succeeding anywhere because it’s apparent that you don’t want this life of sobriety. Several people have mentioned staff but that’s furthest from the truth. If you had a family member relapse it’s not the fault of this facility as they give you what you need to stay clean. IOP NA AA Therapy, counseling etc. Also give it more than 24 hours to work. I would 100 times over recommend this place to anyone struggling. I hope you find peace, clarity and sobriety.

My name is Billy, I did about 16 days in sandstone care in Virginia, at first it was rough cause I was in detox and I didn’t click much with the patients and staff but after a few days I really started getting along with everyone. As long as you respect the staff and your fellow patients then they will treat you with that same respect. With that being said the staff, nurses, providers and therapists were absolutely awesome. I had such a positive recovery and the extra work that all the staff put in to me gave me faith for continuing sobriety and not relapsing. I am 23 days clean of kratom and vaping/smoking cigarettes. If not for this facility I believe I would still be in dark place continuing to throw my physical and mental health away. Absolutely an amazing place, Tina, amber, Jacob, heather, ms.V, joval, Ty, and many more are really just absolutely and unbelievably amazing human beings who don’t just see this as a job, it’s very clear that they enjoy their work and are more than willing to put in the extra work to patients that are serious about recovery. 5 stars for a great facility who contain even greater people.
