I have nothing but accolades for Recovery Unplugged! Their treatment facility is warm and inviting along with the group rooms being cozy. All the staff is super helpful from admissions, intake, detox, behavioral techs, therapists, and other group facilitators.
I am incredibly grateful for the support and guidance I received from Brian Sloan, the admissions counselor who helped me begin my recovery journey. From the very first phone call, he was professional, compassionate, and understanding, making what could have been an overwhelming process feel more hopeful. If you're considering rehab or need guidance, I wholeheartedly recommend reaching out to Recovery Unplugged. Their commitment to helping others heal is truly unmatched.
I can’t express enough how grateful I am for Recovery Unplugged. They helped lift my big sister out of a place I feared she’d never escape. This facility will always have my deepest gratitude. Now, I can go to bed knowing my sister is a safe and lasting part of my life, without the worry of where she might be. Bobbi was incredibly supportive, staying in touch throughout my sister’s stay and guiding her through a difficult transition. Thank you, Recovery Unplugged, for everything you do, and may everyone at the center be blessed.
I had the best experience at recovery unplugged this is by far the best treatment center I ever been to and the best part of it all is the staff such an amazing group of therapist, BHT's, and nurses I would recommend this place to anyone struggling with addiction I was so grateful to everyone I crossed paths with at recovery unplugged I made life long friends In months and the best part of it all is the alumni experience the activity's we do softball, meetings, sober sessions, all of it THE BEST TREATMENT CENTER EVER hands down!!!!!
I probably won’t have the words to express my experience @ R.U.
I was there in 2020,my stay was probably close to 4/5 months and I can remember almost every single detail, probably because I still use every Tool I was exposed too.
They taught me how to use meditation, which I continue to still practice Daily,One of the counselors gave a couple of lessons about a philosophy that I learned more about since then, which I continued to research and practice also for the past 4 years.
I can proudly say I am a Stoic,
Music Therapy is pretty much their baseline learning Tool, which is super effective.
1 more super important item to bear in mind, everyone who works there,is or has been in recovery .
The Alumni still check on me 4years later.
A very important person to me is Dr.Barry, who I met in 2015 @ another rehab facility I was in almost 10 years ago, stayed on the phone with my wife for a solid 2 hours at about 11 pm while feeding his brand new baby daughter.
I am now a recovery Coach here in NYC, I believe I have been good at what I do,because of Recovery Unplugged, I use everything I learned there, I try to give people an opportunity to use the fellowship models but I try to expose them to alternative methods of healing and recovery.
Yes it was and remains to be a super important time in my journey to staying sober.
Much love and Gratitude to everyone there!!
