What Our Patients Say About Us

It's been 3 years since I went to RU and I can tell you, without a doubt, that it was the best decision I ever made. It was my first attempt at getting sober. The staff (nurses, doctors, front desk, staff, counselors, EVERYONE) were amazing and so helpful. I went in not knowing what to expect and I came out with an entirely different mind set. They gave me all the tools I needed to stay clean and sober and I use those tools every single day. If you have an addiction, don't hesitate for one more second. Call this facility; they WILL help you if you want it.

I am so impressed with the caliber of staff at Recovery Unplugged. Zach Elliott and everybody involved with the alumni program have made staying connected easy and fun. I wish there were more professionals in the field with his sense of humor, compassion and empathy. Highly recommend!

I’ve been to many treatment centers and each has a different feel. But this place is the only one that was able to change my life. The staff here definitely care about the clients and invest in each person. I’m so grateful to everyone because I’m still clean from all mood and mind altering substances today. Special shout out to the alumni coordinators, both Danielle and Zack they continue to keep me involved even after treatment ended and are still a huge part of my recovery.

This place saved my daughters life five years ago and I couldn't be more grateful. They are some of the most professional caring people I've ever met. Because of them and especially the staff that are still employed there since she was a client(Bobbi, Ana, Mike the tech) I get to see her flourish and give back what she gained from the program.

I am incredibly grateful for the support and guidance I received from Brian Sloan, the admissions counselor who helped me begin my recovery journey. From the very first phone call, he was professional, compassionate, and understanding, making what could have been an overwhelming process feel more hopeful. If you're considering rehab or need guidance, I wholeheartedly recommend reaching out to Recovery Unplugged. Their commitment to helping others heal is truly unmatched.

I had a Great experience at RU Everyone is very caring especially the Techs they run the show there, they take care of the clients more than anyone Some of the group facilitators are a bit abrasive, although sometimes dealing with addiction you need abrasiveness like tough love I only had a short time there due to insurance issues (not at all RUs fault) But in the short time I was there I felt safe, well taken care of, and inspired to stay sober from now on! I met some really GREAT people there Techs Staci,Josh,Dillon,Carl,Larry just to name a few and some residents trying to get sober just like me Thank you RU for giving me a second chance at life! 😊🌟🌟🌟🌟 4 stars

I probably won’t have the words to express my experience @ R.U. I was there in 2020,my stay was probably close to 4/5 months and I can remember almost every single detail, probably because I still use every Tool I was exposed too. They taught me how to use meditation, which I continue to still practice Daily,One of the counselors gave a couple of lessons about a philosophy that I learned more about since then, which I continued to research and practice also for the past 4 years. I can proudly say I am a Stoic, Music Therapy is pretty much their baseline learning Tool, which is super effective. 1 more super important item to bear in mind, everyone who works there,is or has been in recovery . The Alumni still check on me 4years later. A very important person to me is Dr.Barry, who I met in 2015 @ another rehab facility I was in almost 10 years ago, stayed on the phone with my wife for a solid 2 hours at about 11 pm while feeding his brand new baby daughter. I am now a recovery Coach here in NYC, I believe I have been good at what I do,because of Recovery Unplugged, I use everything I learned there, I try to give people an opportunity to use the fellowship models but I try to expose them to alternative methods of healing and recovery. Yes it was and remains to be a super important time in my journey to staying sober. Much love and Gratitude to everyone there!!

I can’t express enough how grateful I am for Recovery Unplugged. They helped lift my big sister out of a place I feared she’d never escape. This facility will always have my deepest gratitude. Now, I can go to bed knowing my sister is a safe and lasting part of my life, without the worry of where she might be. Bobbi was incredibly supportive, staying in touch throughout my sister’s stay and guiding her through a difficult transition. Thank you, Recovery Unplugged, for everything you do, and may everyone at the center be blessed.
