Recovery Centers of America at Danvers

RCA is a great spot for someone looking to start their journey in recovery. It is an adequate facility. Clean, spacious, and allows for time in the daily schedule for patients to decompress and expend energy healthily with the gym and or access to outside. The groups that are offered daily provide the insight, coping strategies, and space for people to communicate freely and open up about the challenges they are facing or will face moving forward.

RCA Unit 8 saved my life. I’m so grateful for my life today. 2 months sober tomorrow! The sky is the limit I learned there. Case Management was amazing and so supportive! Therapy was incredible and so beyond what I thought I could took away in 2 months. And my Recovery Specialist was just the most personable and helpful! Basically my team there is the best! And all the staff is great. Especially the recovery support staff. I miss them! And the nurses go way above and beyond to make sure patients are healthy, comfortable and safe. I would recommend RCA to any friend or family member in search detox and continued sobriety!

RCA Alumni program and its PHP/IOP are what set RCA apart from other programs across the country! The RCA Danvers campus is a very special place. I had a made a bad judgment prior to getting help there because I thought how could I get help in a facility that's this large. What I didn't know is that RCA Danvers, MA is broken up into different units based on your individual needs. . My stay was great but one thing that worries me is what will happen when I get out of treatment? Will I be able to stay in recovery, free from active addiction? A therapist by the name of Robin came to the inpatient unit i was on to let the patients know about RCAs after care program that offers php and iop day programs. They even let us tour the facility and sit in on a group so you can see if it would be a good fit for you. Also in the same week I met a staff member by the name of Jill.R. she is the alumni coordinator and let me know that the RCA support continues long after inpatient or outpatient care. There is a strong feeling of safety and community at RCA. The alumni meetings give you the chance to meet people in recovery from all over the country on zoom which is very cool. I look forward to the fun and recovery fellowship of being a member of the RCA Danvers Alumni program for years to come.

Zoom meetings have given me 4 years sober. Never would have known if I did not go to RCA. Not only meetings but the events that are offered are a game changer in my recovery. Peter Gregory made my bucket list recently by making it possible to tour the Bill Wilson house. I am beyond grateful for all you do RCA. Life is real good.
