Oxford Treatment Center has truly exceeded my expectations in providing a compassionate and effective environment for recovery. I am deeply grateful for the exceptional care I received during my stay.
A special thanks to Becky, Buffie, and Barry. Their dedication and professionalism were instrumental in my journey to recovery.
Every staff member I encountered treated me with respect, kindness, and genuie care. Their commitment to ensuring my comfort and well-being was evident in every interaction. My therapist, Sabrina was incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, providing invaluable guidance and tools for my recovery.
Specific treatment information:
* Individual therapy sessions: These one-on-one sessions allowed me to explore the root causes of my addiction and develop coping mechanisms for managing triggers and cravings.
* Group therapy sessions: Participating in group therapy provided a sense of community and support, as well as the opportunity to learn from others' experiences.
* Medication-assisted treatment (MAT): MAT was a crucial component of my recovery, helping to manage withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings.
I am so grateful for everyone at Oxford Treatment Center. Their unwavering support and compassion have made a profound impact on my life. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking a supportive and effective environment for recovery.
If you are thinking about coming here, please read.
I am currently on my 2nd week here. I couldn't have asked for a better place. I have been to several rehabs and this one actually has given me tools to help keep my sobriety. I owe my life to this place.
You get to keep your phone after the 5th day here. You also get to smoke, dip, vape here. All the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable.. They do offer maintenance medications if needed. They offer detox meds. While in detox, you aren't forced to go to class till you actually start feeling better. They offer Art therapy, music therapy, holistic Therapy, equine therapy, and more. Couples are encouraged to come here together. It's like Summer Camp for Addicts/Alcoholics but it truly helps.
But, before coming here, I read thru all of these reviews. They had me worried and confused, so I want to straighten some out.
1. I read this place will "starve you to death". This is false. You get plenty of food on your tray. If it wasn't enough, you can go thru the line again. Snacks are provided all day and the drink station is open 24/7. The taste of the food, however, is very bland.
2. I read that this place will just kick you out over insurance or whatever. This is partially true but let me explain. Your insurance has approved your stay before you walk in the door. But, there are stipulations on their payments. You are expected to attend classes throughout the day. There isn't anyone forcing you to attend these classes. But, there are people keeping up with you all day to see if you do attend. If you are late for class, leave early, are disruptive, don't even show up at all, etc., it's recorded. These instances are then sent to your insurance daily. After so many instances, your insurance cuts your payments off. So when your loved one gets sent home over "insurance", don't blame the facility, blame your loved one. Insurance companies are not gonna pay for services that aren't being used.
3. I read there is phone no service here. This is true. The phone service is spotty and you have a hard time getting connected. But there is strong wifi in all the cabins, detox, etc. There is absolutely no problems getting in the Internet. But, the wifi here does restricts usage of social media sites (Facebook, tik Tok, insta, etc)
