I'm incredibly grateful for my experience at Northpoint Recovery. If I ever found myself needing treatment again, I wouldn't hesitate to return.
The facility was clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The outdoor courtyard provided a relaxing space to soak in the sunshine and socialize. The food was good overall, and I especially appreciated that they accommodated my vegetarian diet. I did experience one issue involving a food allergy after I was mistakenly served something containing an ingredient I couldn't eat. While that was understandably concerning, the kitchen staff immediately apologized, investigated what happened, and followed up to help prevent it from happening again. Their compassion and willingness to address the issue showed me they genuinely care about patient safety.
The activities were thoughtfully planned, and I especially enjoyed the yoga classes and walks around the nearby reservoir. The process groups and educational sessions helped me reflect, grow, and build practical skills that I continue to use today. They created a space where I felt safe being honest, learning from others, and challenging myself. The nurses were wonderful, the counselors were knowledgeable and supportive, and the behavioral health techs consistently went above and beyond. Several staff members shared they are in recovery themselves, and their passion for helping others was evident every day. A special thank you to James, whose kindness and willingness to help made a real difference during my stay.
One area I could see improving is the discharge planning. Unfortunately, the case managers were balancing a large caseload, which limited the amount of time they were able to spend with each patient. I think adding another team member would make the transition home even more seamless and personalized. I also noticed some inconsistencies in communication. At times, different staff members provided different answers to the same questions, and one of my personal belongings went missing after being placed in what I understood to be a secure storage area. While that was disappointing, it didn't outweigh the overall quality of care or the lasting impact the program had on my recovery.
No organization is perfect, but I truly believe Northpoint is one of the best. I will always be grateful for the care I received and the genuine connections I made there. I would wholeheartedly recommend Northpoint to anyone seeking help.
Northpoint has been a saving grace for me this past year and I can’t say enough about how much it has changed my life. I never thought I’d be able to get healthy again and they have given me more than enough support and all of the right tools to get me back up onto my feet.
The nursing team is absolutely amazing, especially when they have to help 40+ people throughout their shift. The entire staff are all amazing and have yet to find anything negative to say about them.
I am so glad to have been through the program and to now have a great community of SOBER friends.
I'm extremely grateful for North Point Recovery, now and forever. They not only assisted in saving my life, but they also taught me how to connect with my peers, which in my opinion, is the very thing that helps you remain clean and sober. I would've loved to have Church on Sundays, more process groups, and a better team, as far as discharging goes.
I came here from a completely different state in order to get clean and sober. I went to detox first who then aided in my acceptance into North Point Recovery. My 28 days was approaching quickly, I filed for an extension as I was applying into a lot of sober living houses only to be told my extension was denied. I had to leave there with absolutely no plan in place, as well as other clients. If it's a "safe environment" why are all these people displaced and scrambling to get themselves into a real safe environment. The lower management staff as in the techs and case managers, they were wonderful and aiding anything you needed as well as the counselors there. On the hard days my counselor went above and beyond for me!!
That's how it is at North point recovery!! 🙏🏻🙌🏻
To be completely honest, this place had truly changed my life. All the staff including techs, nurses, counselors, psych, and providers are incredible and go above and beyond to provide support, knowledge, and help through the whole process they are absolutely incredible. I cannot thank them enough. I have met so many incredible people and have had the honor to call so many my best friends and family. I love the support of the community that you create and become a part of. Thank you northpoint
This place is truly a life saver. Great nurses, great techs. Sweet rooms. I love the bathroom with the shower I am going to miss plus the oatmeal. I ate 6 bowls everyday. If you are struggling with addiction come here. They will take very good care of you ❤️. You will create a family here that you can carry out for extra support after you leave. Hopefully complete the 28 day program. It will save your life.
