About New Mexico Wellness Treatment Center
New Mexico Wellness (NMW) is a non-denominational, residential alcohol and drug treatment campus situated on 10 acres in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. NMW has transformed the Felician Sisters Convent into a place of healing and recovery for those struggling with addiction.
When clients arrive, they will receive respectful and dignified 24-hour care from our experienced, on-site providers. This care includes medical stabilization from caring, experienced medical providers. Clients will then transition to specialized clinical groups and individual meetings with our experienced staff. NMW will address each client’s specific treatment goals that allow for the merging of clinical, holistic, and spiritual components.
Our beautiful sanctuary is also home to a multitude of groups and activities that include, yoga, mindfulness, 12 Step meetings, meditation, drumming circles and more.
It is an honor to walk with you on your road to recovery and we do not take that responsibility lightly. So, take a breath while you enjoy the beautiful view of the Sandia Mountains from our courtyard…. recovery can start here.

Thank you New Mexico wellness! New Mexico wellness is a great place to get treatment. You are able to discuss the issues that cause you to drink. You get more than lessons on breathing, mindfulness and emotional regulation. You get true care and support. I was discharged early due to my dishonest behavior. However I have been out for 5 days now and have not had a drink. Every other rehab I've been to I either had a drink the same day or the day after I left. I have true hope for my future. They have medically assisted treatment for both alcohol and narcotics. I highly recommend New Mexico wellness. They're not perfect but neither is anybody or any place. I got what I needed to stay sober for the rest of my life I truly do thank New Mexico wellness and all the staff.
I was greatly impressed with this program. The staff was incredible and so inspiring. Everyone you interact with, including but not limited to, the RAs, the counselors, therapists, the yoga instructors, sound healing personnel, and the kitchen staff are amazing. In addition, the owners who approved my participation were very caring and helpful. I had been to three rehabs before but hands down the structure and kindness of the people around the program is the best.
This place is great!!! My family member is there we have tried many other rehabs and this is the best on yes that’s why I give it a 💯 %.
