Huntington Creek Recovery Center

So a close friend of mine was at this place. Me being familiar with my own journeys down the old recovery road was curious when he told me the name of it. I'd never even heard of the place. But I'll tell you what I do know. My friend is a tough shell to crack. It's not easy for ANYONE to get him to really open up and not see things so black and white. The change that has taken place in him in such a short time is actually quite inspirational. Sometimes it kind of doesn't quite make sense that I'm speaking to the same person I seen just months earlier. He brings up one name in particular. Huntington Creek has a Tech named John. All I know is that John, whoever you are, you're changing lives my guy. You're giving lives back. You gave one of the sweetest little girls her father back. If someone is reading this thinking they'd like to find a more intimate place to get clean where they have a staff that sees them as a person and not just another number on the quota board for next quarters funding. I went home today after my stay at Huntington Creek Recovery Center and my goodness Wow, just Wow. It didn't feel like a prison like the other 2 I've been to. The level of trust and respect there made me feel like a human, not just another insurance payment. From the day I entered, the spiritual presence was in the room, and I was struggling with that. Nearly all the staff had an experience to relate to, I was heard and they understood me. What an incredible way to help people like me find our way to recovery. I even learned to play some piano and guitar. Life is doable again, but it's so much more now. Thank you to everyone at HCRC may God continue to Bless you all.🙏❤️

I went to HCRC for rehab for 6 weeks, for alcohol and benzo addiction. It was not the first time I've been in rehab, and it was the best one I've been to. John and Michelle are two of the night techs, they madr a huge impact on me, they truly love and care about their job and can repate to what you are going through, as they are in recovery as well. 90% of the staff is in recovery and it made a HUGE difference. The food is decent and everyone is really laid back, which allows you to find your own way to recovery. The facility is beautiful as well, which helps. They have a ropes course which has 10 different obstacles, which help you to find confidence in yourself and to trust others. Overall it was a wonderful experience, I've been sober 44 days and I have no desire to drink.

This place is magical itself, however when you throw in the mix the amazing staff.... this place becomes more than that....it becomes life saving. You saved mine and I am privileged to witness that magic work with others while I was there. I can't thank you guys enough. With all my love and gratitude and hope my laugh echoes the doom!!!
