About Soberman’s Estate
The property includes everything needed to rehabilitate body and spirit, including a zen massage therapy room. The beautiful pool features a soothing rock waterfall offering a haven for relaxation. A putting green and gardens provide oases in the desert landscape. A grotto, fire pit, and labyrinth offer spaces where clients can reflect and relax. The stables and arena offer extensive space for equine-assisted modalities and blends in with a magnificent view of the desert landscape and mountains. With all of the beauty and activities offered to clients in recovery, Soberman’s Estate is known as Arizona’s premier, private residential treatment center.
This backdrop provides a healing environment for a very specific type of clientele. Our typical clientele are licensed professionals, executives, and business owners. It is not all we treat, but it represents more than 70% of our population. We provide flexibility with electronics, allowing clients to keep their phones in their pockets, and whatever electronics they choose to bring, in their rooms. We understand that busy professionals cannot always disappear from the outside world, and we will accommodate a continuation of business duties, as long as the client is not treatment avoidant.
The average age of our client is 52, so we trend toward mature. Certainly, we treat men in their 30’s and we treat men in their 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s. Historically, if there is a substance or substances involved in a client’s history, 90% of those clients are Alcohol and/or Cocaine primary. 81% of all admissions have underlying Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, PTSD, or unprocessed trauma.
We provide a level of discretion that meets each individual client’s needs. Due to that level of discretion, we provide a minimum of 3 one on one sessions with a primary master’s level clinician per week. This allows successful men with dynamic life experiences to share those narrow areas of their lives where they have experienced difficulties. Initially, these struggles can be difficult to present at a group level, even when it is a group of peers. We understand and are here to help!
