My experience with galt was amazing, they helped me with my anxiety and struggles with mental health/ addiction. they always made me feel safe and like i was welcomed, i recommend galt to anyone struggling with addiction and mental health

Hey my name is Paul G, I’m 42 years old and I’m from Memphis Tennessee. My sober day is May 10th, 2021 ,so I’m coming up on three years now. Before I came to Florida I was powerless over my addiction which is alcohol and my life became unmanageable. Coming to Florida was only supposed to be temporary but God had another plan for me. I’m actually doing things that I never thought I would do in a million years. Going to treatment was the last choice for me. I tried everything on my own and nothing worked. I didn’t want to give the program a chance at first but I was desperate for help. I was defeated and I was unable to grow as a person. God had been leading me the whole time I was in Florida and he led me to a great place called Galt ocean rehab center where I was able to learn about my disease and be comforted by a great group of people who saw something in me that I didn’t see at the time. I was determined to do whatever it took and I was willing to change. During my time there I was introduced to the 12 steps and pushed to get a sponsor. I was able to relate and identify with a lot in the book and I had a spiritual awakening. I realized that I had to surrender and turn my will over to the care of god because my way wasn’t working lol. Galt ocean showed me the way and God did the rest and I’m so grateful for the man I’ve become. I looked up to the staff and they inspired me to want to do the same thing for other’s. It was all part of God's plan. I just had to trust,believe, allow God to work in my life. Now I work at a treatment center and I love it. My spirit changed when I began working with others. Trust the process and have faith because recovery is possible!

My time at Galt Ocean Rehab was a very pleasant experience during a very difficult time in my life. I don't feel as though I would be where I'm at today if it hadn't been for my time at Galt Ocean Rehab. All the staff members went out of their way and went above and beyond to help me while not making me feel like just a number. I was made to feel like an individual and I was helped in numerous ways. Galt Ocean Rehab helped me to feel as though my life was important enough so I could prosper and grow and I now have more time clean than I ever have had in my life. I have been to numerous rehabs, however, my experience at Galt Ocean Rehab surpasses any and all attempts in my past to be clean and sober. I honestly believe that I would not be where I'm at today without the help and positive encouragement that was given to me on a daily basis at Galt Ocean Rehab Center!!
