Freedom allowed me to take the time I needed to safely and comfortably detox. I was in a bind and needed a place that offered facilities that would allow me to do this. Facilities are great, food is excellent, staff are caring (with many in recovery), and the team here is one that wants to help you get back on your feet. I would highly recommend, and they will answer any questions you have if you have any concerns.
Wow! What can I say?! Freedom Detox is an amazing place! The staff truly care. The facility is always neat and clean. The food is awesome. The bonds and relationships that I formed while there will never be forgotten. It was so bittersweet to leave, but I feel equiped with the knowledge I need to stay clean and sober! I couldn’t have dreamed of going to a better place. The facility was clean and food was excellent. They made sure you were set up for success once you left. They made sure all your options were clearly told to you. All of the staff was amazing. The counselors were nice, encouraging, fun, real, and supportive. All the groups and activities were so beneficial. All the nursing staff were so nice and made sure you were safe. My life is moving in the direction I’ve always wanted to get back to. I can say full heartedly my life is changing for the better starting with this place.
Great experience at this premiere Detox facility in Gastonia, North Carolina! The staff was very kind and courteous while providing me with great care and support throughout the most difficult period of my life, getting clean from alcohol and opiate addiction. Wesley Sanders, a Behavioral Health Technician was extremely personable and shared real life recovery experience while providing all the tools to fill my toolbox to begin not only getting sober but begin recovery. Kacey Steeper, Aftercare Case Manager was very efficient and quick to execute where I would go to treatment after Freedom Detox and Recovery Center. In addition to these two, Kendall, Asa, Yul, Elaina, Jason, Andre, Angela, Kelsey, the Chefs (The Food was Awesome) were outstanding! Definitely recommend if you are serious about change and recovery.
