What Our Patients Say About Us

Staff, consisting of counselors and class instructirs friendly and genuine. The day consists of a constructed itinerary and following the Rules should be followed. Like no vaping. I mean if you're going to sneak why are you even going to rehab. The team leaders of the classes share their own experience which made it a more comfortable atmosphere knowing that they may have gone through the same struggles that we have gone through or are going through. I really like the aftercare program because I can call at any time and discuss anything with one of the staff members. Respect of others is a necessity as you live in close range of each other and keep your hands on your own stuff. The food was always tasty and plentifu, dining hall ladiesl are outstanding. It was a comfortable, safe environment for me to be in at a time where I was troubled.

I have been utilizing Bear River's services since 2019 and without them I would not be where I am today. I came to them broken and lost, they have helped me regain my sobriety and have given me to tools needed to be happy and successful. I have made strong personal bonds with the staff and have them on my speed dial. If you are searching for a better life choose bear river, if I can do it, anyone can! Thank you!

Bear River saved my life, being able to not only recover and learn in such a professional and comfortable environment was outstanding. The main campus/hotel place is phenomenal and the staff was genuinely some of the nicest people I've ever met. It was an empowering and humbling experience being able to stay here and I'm officially a year and a half sober because of it. Thank you Bear River!

One year ago, I would start my day violently sick & wishing for the suffering to stop. TODAY, I am counting down two weeks to ONE YEAR CLEAN. Maybe you're in the same shoes. Stay at an absolute bare minimum a week, it then gets much easier to claw your way to 30 days. Embrace the LOVE you can find on here. Be honest and unashamed. Say what you think, what you're going through, but more importantly LISTEN, be open-minded - that's how to get the most out of your time here. The place is not bad/fine/good. You have a clean room, bed, and facility, showers. Some of these other reviews mention amazing food: this is no five star hotel. What do you expect? For the staff, some have a little more patience and empathy than others, you can pretty quickly pick out who's been 'through it' and who hasn't. Advocate for yourself respectfully and you will be heard, everyone I've ever met there has been only focused on helping. But man... Be KIND. Kind and respectful and I promise you will get nothing but the same back. It's not gonna be for everyone, that's your call. Some of it is tough love, but that's how recovery works. If you want help you can find it here. I'm no expert; while one year is awesome, I still have my struggles - but I have the lifelong skills I learned with BRH to help me through. I truly owe my life in part to Bear River, and ALL of the staff there. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! I wish I could name names, but special shout out to my counselor and a few members of staff. Hope you know you rock. - Casey, Or B

I initially honestly did not believe this was going to make a difference, but it really worked. The most life changing thing I have ever done with my life. Hands down, no doubt. The staff are amazing and really care. Especially considering how much I complained while I was up there (I am certain I was not their easiest client to get along, especially in the beginning). Also, the classes really are helpful... there is a lot of wisdom taught here. They were kind enough to tell me if I needed to, I was still welcome to come back as well... if I had a problem with mind-altering substances again. For now, though, I am doing really good. The best I have done since I was 13 years old, really. I am now 40. I can't say enough good things about bear river. It literally saved my life from either death, incarceration, or insanity. THANK YOU BEAR RIVER FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART & SOUL, Floyd EDIT: I hope/pray I never have a problem with mind-altering-substances again but if I do I know who to get a hold of. FOREVER IN DEBT TO YOUR PRICELESS ADVICE

I went to Bear River back in October of 2024 when I decided I wanted to get clean, I have always been a night owl and they wanted me getting up at 6 am showering by 7 and being to first group by 8 😂 I couldn't do it, I started like 3 days and was like well I think I'm going to head out, I was ready to get clean I just wasn't on a good schedule. But now Now almost 1 year later I'm still not clean. I've been on MAT for one year and 1 month. One year and one month too long! I'm ready to step it down one more notch. I want off the subs and I know you guys can help me, the staff was so kind and considerate and very understanding that I just wasn't on a good schedule and that's why I left. But as I was saying one year later and I'm on a good schedule now! I have a job now, I'm in school now. And I really truly believe it was partially from my experience at Bear River Health! I have a lot to do with it and so does the big man upstairs. We all took part in my recovery, I didn't feel alone and I'm ready to come back and try for a couple months.. I know we can do this! Thank you for your time 🥰
