Asheville Recovery Center

ARC by far has been one of the best treatment center experiences I’ve had. Every staff member treated me with respect, and the community I acquired during my stay in Asheville really skyrocketed my recovery. Sarah K. Is by far one of the best therapists I’ve had, and a few techs that really stood out to me were Rachel, Bryce, Malia, Cady, and Mark. The program educates, inspires, and allows you to learn how to live a sober life post treatment. If I were to have to go to treatment again, I would definitely choose here.

My time at ARC was life changing. Im so thankful for the techstherapists and staff that helped me on my journey. The daily group therapy was eye opening. The one on one therapy was something I'd never thought I needed, but they helped me through it and it was a great experience. I met some great people that I still talk to this day. The techs are awesome and everyone treated me with respect.I am Type 1 diabetic and I use continous glucose monitor synced to my phone. Though phones are not allowed they bought a phone that i could use only for my monitor which allowed me to manage blood sugar on my own. Together we came up with a system that will help others with the same condition while they are in recovery at ARC. Today is day 278 and I definitely would reccommend ARC for Recovery.

This place honestly saved my life. The location is beautiful. The staff and clinicians are ALL absolutely amazing, and most are in recovery themselves. The classes provide necessary structure, and are informative and relevant. You have phone time everyday. You go on outings to do fun stuff every week, such as bowling, skating, or to do your own grocery shopping. I can’t recommend this place enough. 10/5 stars.

Asheville Recovery Center has been an absolute fantastic experience! I have tried multiple times (on my own) to halt my alcoholism to no avail. Upon my latest return to use, I checked myself in to rehab here and now I feel as though I have a new lease on life! From Hollan with admissions to every single therapist, case worker, and technician, EVERYBODY cared and every one was willing to stop what they were doing to make sure each client was cared for. The group exercises and daily therapy meetings have provided so much information for me to be able to see where I am flawed and gave me the tools and literature to correct these behaviors or at least cope with them to the best of my ability. Two thumbs up in all directions here!

I can't say enough good things about this place. The therapists, techs, case managment, all the way to the directors are amazing. EVERYONE is involved and thoroughly vested in your recovery process every step of the way. I truly did not meet a person I didn't like. They are all kind and genuine people. It helps that many have been through the program there themselves, or have "been there, done that" themselves. The clients are all pretty fantastic, too. 95% are truly there to recover. Sure a few bad eggs in every batch, but staff handles them appropriately and they usually come around. The community activities are always fun. Clinical being offsite from their residence gives it a different air of not being trapped in a facility. The team does a fabulous job of pairing roommates based on personalities, similar ages, backgrounds in life, and DOCs. Hopefully, I won't ever need to return for care, but if I do, ARC would be my only choice!
