Alpas is simply amazing~! From the phone interview to walking in the front door, intake, detox, treatment and setting up aftercare this place is second to none IMO. The staff as a whole is kind, caring, understanding and treat their patients with a calm care and respect that truly helps the recovery go even smoother and further.
Unfortunately, this was not my first in person treatment program, but I am extremely grateful that this time I found Alpas as it was a HUGE addition to the recovery steps I already had knowledge of.
Being treated like not only a human but as an adult that is working on themselves and needed help doing so was tremendously helpful.
The clinical staff, as well as the entire rest of the staff is second to none with all of them bringing their years of experience in other facilities to the table at this brand-new treatment facility with an open mind and new way of helping those who need it.
Alpas was extremely accommodating to those of us with food issues/allergies and religious needs on TOP of having regularly fantastic meals three times a day as well as snacks.
The cleanliness of this facility as well as the maintenance staff is also second to none.
I HIGHLY recommend Alpas Wellness well above other institutions I have encountered.
No matter where you are in your recovery, just starting out or starting over this place is just a phone call away for changing the rest of your life.

Having attended Alpas twice, I can’t begin to say how grateful I am for this facility. From the staff to the food to the community within, it’s been remarkable. All the nurses, counselors, BHTs, and all other staff is caring, helpful, and accepting. I couldn’t have made it through this journey without them. The facility is stunning and comfortable, with great food. Alpas has impacted my life in so many positive ways. For those that are suffering and turning for help, attending Alpas would be the best decision you could possibly make.
I Couldn't be more thankful for Alpas Wellness Maryland Recovery Center. I came into this facility sick, broken, and lost. Alpas Wellness took care of me the minute I walked into the facility. From detox, to group and individual therapy, I've been able to work through my problems and learn multiple coping mechanisms. The staff is wonderful, accommodating, and extremely friendly. They are there to help you 100% of the time. I'm thankful that every day group therapy was different and I was able to learn something new during my five-week stay. Shout out to my therapist, Ms. Helen. Without her love, and dedication, I wouldn't have come as far as I am now.

Alpas is a wonderful option for detox. This place is run by truly kind hearted individuals and the staff as a whole is caring and thoughtful, you can tell they are there to help and make a difference. The building itself is beautiful, clean and has so many amenities that add a lot of comfort to your stay. I had a couple of friends admitted here for treatment and they had such a positive experience and felt that they were set up with the tools to succeed compared to other centers, i would recommend this place to anyone looking for help!
Alpas is a one of a kind treatment experience that I would recommend to anyone seeking help for themselves or a loved one. The staff, facility, and programming are absolutely phenomenal. Erin is an excellent clinician who ensures her clients feel seen and heard and consistently meets them with unconditional positive regard. I was so lucky to work with her. All of the staff from on-the-floor techs to upper leadership, CARED about my experience. Special shout outs to BHTs Davon, Scott, Amber, Leah, Carlos, Alex and of course Miss TAM! James and Marcus from leadership went above and beyond to make sure our treatment needs were EXCEEDED. Food and accommodations are top tier. I feel fortunate to be part of the alumni community and for the solid footing this facility gave me. I would give it 10 stars if I could!
