Serenity Lodge truly lives up to its name. From the moment you arrive, the environment feels calm, safe, and supportive—exactly what’s needed during such a vulnerable time. The staff are compassionate, professional, and genuinely invested in each person’s recovery. They take the time to listen, not judge, and that makes a huge difference.
The program is well-structured and balanced, combining therapy, education, and personal reflection in a way that feels purposeful rather than overwhelming. The counselors are knowledgeable and approachable, and you can tell they care deeply about helping people build real, sustainable change.
I will miss the amazing facilitators here, they truly have changed my life.
Thank you!!
This place will always hold a special place in my heart. I was so comfortable, that I actually remember wanting to extend my time as long as I could.
You'll win the lottery with the facilitators. The CBT they provided was incredible, and really helps change your thinking and perspective, if you allow it. Alongside with them, the BHT's are awesome. They are great support figures on every shift, from getting you through tough moments, to having laughs with you while you begin to feel like yourself again. Shout out to Renee, Monica, Tim, and Stan on the business side of things. Truly passionate people about what they do.
Transitioning to co-ed is a learning curve for any place, but I do remember being checked up on often regarding my comfort and advice for the future. I truly had no major issues.
As far as the amenities, food, and campus - I don't think you'll find another in patient. Seriously. The fact that (for the most part) we had our own bedrooms with a tv, was such an awesome thing already. The cabins were newer on the inside, also. It felt really great having the ability to walk around the campus freely, to the groups, meals, and amenities. Most places feel like you're almost trapped in one building and this is not a lockdown style facility at all. The music room is SOOO great. It's got nearly every instrument you can think of. They keep you really well fed lol - the cooks do a freaking awesome job. I spent Christmas and NYE at Serenity, and I honestly had great holidays. Especially Christmas.
Staffing was kind of short, but as I mentioned before, they did not lack in quality.
I'd recommend this spot to any of my loved ones.
This was the last rehab facility I attended out of 20+ treatment visits. I was homeless, jobless and hopelessly addicted to drugs and alcohol when I entered the doors of serenity lodge. My life was broken. Serenity took me in and gave an opportunity at a long term treatment program. They were able to get me situated with hearing aids to help improve my hearing so I was able to fully engage in their program. People like Sacora, Gianni and especially Ranay really helped to keep me engaged, challenge my recovery and most of all help me learn how to take accountability for my actions. These good people taught me more than just physical sobriety. They showed me what living sober looked, sounded and felt like. They were a keystone in helping me build a foundation for a life in recovery. 4 years later, I am now employable, no longer homeless and have a life that is so good I am actually afraid to tell people how good it is, rather than before when my life was so bad I was afraid to tell people how bad it really was.
Serenity saved my life. Cat was truly amazing working with me and doing everything it took to get me there. She spent so much time with me on the phone, arranging my flight to accommodate my dog, she even stayed on the phone with me through the airport. I will never forget what she did for me. I had lost everything, including myself. I had nothing left. The staff and the community helped me find peace again and put me on the right track to finally be successful in my sobriety. It was so important to me to feel safe. It’s also such a beautiful place to be!
