To call Zia a treatment center doesn’t do it justice—it’s so much more. They don’t just treat you; they transform lives.
When I reached out to Zia, I was at my lowest point, consumed by addiction and completely without hope. In utter desperation, I turned to them for help, and what I found was beyond anything I expected. I was met with unwavering encouragement, genuine empathy, and an extraordinary level of support that gave me the strength to believe in recovery.
From the very beginning, the staff, including the owners, provided guidance rooted in their own personal experiences. This isn’t just a group of professionals who’ve studied addiction—they truly understand it on a personal level, which makes all the difference. Through a variety of therapeutic modalities, Zia helped me uncover and address not only my addiction but the deeper issues that led me there.
I was challenged to confront emotions and decisions I had avoided for years, but every step of the way, I was met with compassion and encouragement. In my short time there, I gained life-changing insights and practical skills that I continue to use daily.
My recovery date is May 25, 2021, and I’m proud to say that I am still clean and sober today. I owe so much to Zia and the incredible work they do.
If you’re considering a treatment center, I can’t recommend Zia enough. It’s not just a place for recovery—it’s a place for transformation. Thank you, Zia, for giving me my life back.
The staff at Zia are second to none. Of particular note are their thoroughly diverse backgrounds. When attempting recovery, relatability and approach are of paramount importance. The staff at Zia represent a very broad range of expertise, experience, and deportment. You’d be hard pressed as a client to not connect with at least one of their staff.
The detox is as smooth a landing as one could hope for. Each phase of the program is suited to cultivate the growth necessary for recovery. Expect a challenge, but with the compassionate guidance of staff who have been where you are and want to see you succeed.
Zia Recovery Center has been an incredible experience for me. After cycling through four other programs, I had almost lost hope of finding a place that could truly help me rebuild my life. But Zia is on an entirely different level. From the moment I walked through their doors, I felt understood, valued, and supported in ways I’d never experienced before. The fact that so many staff members are in recovery themselves creates an environment of compassion and authenticity that’s rare and deeply impactful. They don’t just talk the talk; they walk it every day.
What sets Zia apart is that their passion for helping patients starts at the very top and flows through every level of the organization. It’s clear that everyone, from leadership to staff, is deeply committed to seeing each individual succeed. Their 12-step-based program is comprehensive, yet they approach the disease of addiction from so many different angles that it feels tailor-made for each individual. Every therapist brings their own style and perspective to the table, making group sessions dynamic and enlightening.
My therapist, Dave, was phenomenal. He gave me the space to steer my own journey while courageously guiding me through the hard truths I needed to see in order to grow further. His insight and ability to challenge me in such a constructive way gave me a clearer perspective on my life and my recovery. The case management team is incredibly dedicated. They worked tirelessly to address outside challenges that could have derailed my recovery, paving the way for me to focus completely on my healing.
Zia’s reintegration process is also one of the things that sets it apart. They don’t just teach you how to stay sober. they prepare you to thrive in the real world. Their gradual approach to reintroducing life’s complexities gave me the confidence and skills to step back into society as a stronger, more resilient person.
Zia Recovery Center is more than a treatment facility; it’s a sanctuary for rebuilding lives. They don’t just help you get clean, they help you rediscover yourself, your strength, and your purpose. My time at Zia has given me a new lease on life, and I’ll forever be grateful for the extraordinary people and program that made it all possible.
I had an incredible experience at Zia Recovery Center. I had been through 4 prior treatment centers, and had minimal sustained sobriety upon completion. The biggest thing that sets Zia apart from other treatment centers, is the fact that all staff (including owners) are in recovery and “practice what they preach”. The foundation of Zia was built upon the fundamentals of 12 step programs, which I believe is the only way to achieve and sustain meaningful recovery. Zia and its incredible staff also understand that inpatient treatment for 30-90 days is not nearly enough to grasp the recovery life. By 90 days clean/sober, one is just starting to feel human again and able to begin doing the hard work to ensure lasting recovery. Zia provides treatment for an extended length of time, which allows clients to truly submerge themselves in their new way of life, surrounded by constant support and guidance by mental health professionals, peer support specialists, and medical providers. Zia provides a safe, welcoming, hospitable, and structured environment to rebuild and recreate a beautiful life. With the tremendous help of Zia and its beautiful staff, I will have 5 years clean and sober in November of 2024. I attribute my educational achievements, rebuilt relationships, mental and physical health, and sustained happiness to the catalyst known as Zia Recovery Center. I highly recommend utilizing their incredible treatment facility if you or someone you love is struggling with the disease of addiction.
I had an amazing experience with Zia recovery. I was broken and beaten down when I came in and I left feeling better than I ever have. All staff is amazing and actually cares about your well being. They are not just their for a paycheck and that speaks volumes. Thank you for helping me back on my feet again. 😇
