What Our Patients Say About Us

Valuable part of my recovery.

The alumni group for WTC has been a very valuable part of my recovery, especially after leaving active treatment. Kelly Mulrenin is a great organizer of the group and always has an open arms approach whenever I have a question. And the softball league and monthly breakfast meetings are amazing.

Nurturing environment

I cannot express enough how transformative my experience at the Wilmington Treatment Center has been." The facility provided a nurturing environment that allowed me to delve into the root causes of my addiction. The counselors were not just knowledgeable but also deeply compassionate, guiding me through a journey of self-discovery and understanding.

Your employee, Kelly - Event Coordinator, is a tremendous asset to your organization. She constantly advocates for the treatment center, while always looking to assist those in Wilmington. My praise is endless for her and is doing amazing work that I witness with the alumni. Thanks Kelly for caring for others. We need more of you!!!

This was my 4th time....haven't been for 3.5 years. I stayed the whole program this time and decided this would be my last time. I had a great counselor Mallory in Residential and Chris (again) in PHP. I stayed 42 days the last week I did the day program so I was able to go home at 430 every day! That helped me a great deal! WTC may not be for everyone, but it is what you make of it and if you do the work and are there for the right reasons you will be ok. I so appreciate everyone there. They have a tough job dealing with addicts and alcoholics of all walks of life and be professional day in and day out. The only issue I think is there are too many people there per counselor. Other than that I am so thankful I made the decision to go back and now I am on a wonderful path.

My fiance went there and is now involved with the alumni of wtc. Since she has been involved so have I been involved with them too. I also have had the opportunity to get to know Kelly on morning check in group on zoom and all the fun activities every month. Kelly really cares about recovering addicts and alcoholic and helping them stay clean. I really think Kelly is great and inspiring person.

The staff does come and check on you while you are detoxing. The facility was very clean and they accommodate with sheets and towels promptly. The nurses were helpful with medications. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to stop using drugs or alcohol to give this place a try!
