The Detox Center

What Our Patients Say About Us

Valuable part of my recovery.

The alumni group for WTC has been a very valuable part of my recovery, especially after leaving active treatment. Kelly Mulrenin is a great organizer of the group and always has an open arms approach whenever I have a question. And the softball league and monthly breakfast meetings are amazing.

Dr. Brian Heer

Nurturing environment

I cannot express enough how transformative my experience at the Wilmington Treatment Center has been." The facility provided a nurturing environment that allowed me to delve into the root causes of my addiction. The counselors were not just knowledgeable but also deeply compassionate, guiding me through a journey of self-discovery and understanding.

T. Robinson

Friendly Kind Professional

Victoria and Crystal are Amazing! Friendly Kind Professional and Personable! We highly recommend and we are telling all our friends again and again…. Thank you for what you two do!

This place is amazing. I came here in 2014 and stayed clean for a few years. The staff is amazing. They will give you all the tools you need to stay clean and sober.I will say this ! YOU will get what you put into it. Everyone here wants to see you succeed and they are extremely helpful. My counselor Ashley is absolutely the best ! Ed , Carmen, Chris, Lillie, and Nate AKA Nate Dog are awesome as well. Sean runs the men’s group on the weekend. He is one of the best as well! The best staff member by far is PETE the therapy dog! He is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and Dr. G as well. Can’t say enough about how amazing and special this place really is !

I just received treatment here. I was very scared to go because all I know treatment was what I saw on Tv. This place was so not like anything on Tv. They were very welcoming from the moment I walked in the door. The staff was so nice and helpful. They answered every question I had about everything. Once in the dorm I met me roommate, who was such a rest lady, sad we only had the one night. Because I smoke I met a lot of really, really cool people just like me. We told stories about our issues and just life in general. I met one person in particular that I connected with immediately and made a lasting friendship. I can not say enough good things about them. Staff great, rooms clean actually the entire place was clean , food and as pretty good, BBQ chicken was so good. If I had to complain about anything it would be that the rooms have no TV or clocks. Everything else was great. Heather is an amazing counselor. She is very passionate about what she does and I loved that. All the counselors are great and Dr.G is so fantastic. I could go on and on but I will just leave this here. Tina

My name is Emmanuel and WTC is saving my life right now, and I’m very much grateful cause things could be worse. This program is what you make of it. If you think you just come in and change overnight, you gotta put in the work and use the tools they give you. You have to be comfortable with being uncomfortable, have self awareness and mindfulness, and have an open mind for change. If you don’t want to change, don’t come here and waste your time or staff time. You gotta want this as bad as you want to breathe. It’s getting cold out there and I’m not talking about the weather. Yes, WTC has its flaws but I’m not here to complain or make excuses cause excuses only satisfy the person that makes it. But who don’t have flaws or what don’t have flaws? So with that being said, keep in mind nothing changes if nothing changes. So stay focused and get what you can out of it because it works if you work it. If you’re going to be lazy, stay where you are, but if you want a change in your life come to WTC
