What Our Patients Say About Us
Reviews
The overall experience at Willow Springs Recovery Center was very good. Group meetings and counseling was very efficient and helpful. Staff members and nurses were very friendly as well as the kitchen staff. The meals served were very good.
I loved being able to work out in the well equipped gym and there are many recreational activities that can be taken advantage of. Swimming pool, sand volleyball, tennis court and full-size basketball court. There are many other indoor and outdoor games to keep you entertained. There is also a nice pond with a beautiful water fountain if you just want some peace and quiet or meditation time. The rooms are nice, equipped with television and the beds are quite comfortable. They even have a couple of acoustic guitars and an electric keyboard that residents can use.
I was a little disappointed with the method of taking vitals and distributing medication. It's very slow, especially at night time. I understand that they are currently working to solve this issue. I was also a little disappointed with the option to have Smart Recovery rather than AA and NA. While I was at Willow Springs there were no Smart Recovery meetings that I was aware of.
All in all, the process was very helpful to me. I would highly recommend Willow Springs (Recovery). I'm staying sober😁
I will be leaving a full thorough review once I am graduated from Willow Springs but I wanted to give a kudos shout out to the night nurses who really have made my stay a lot more pleasant! They are always helpful and smiling and very easy to talk to! Ms. Audrey, Ashleigh K and Schulandra S are such amazing nurses and truly love what they do which is so refreshing and comforting especially when you are going through a roller coaster of emotions during this process! Keep up the great work ladies!! (I can’t remember the name of the other two night nurses but once I confirm their name, I will update my review! 🤦🏻♀️) 😊
Also have to shout out to the chefs in the kitchen!! Very delicious meals.
Lastly but not least By a long-shot, I would also like to say that there are A few shining stars in that tech group here! Dani, Amber, Rea (sorry if I spelled wrong! 😑) Gabe and Lisa!
My councilor, Jeff, saved my life.
The others are great as well. They all take turns and teach classes for you through out the day.
It's 6 hours a day of education, great food, beds are very comfortable and the property doesn't make you feel confined.
You can keep your cell and laptop, just not turned on in classes. You are set up with aftercare so you have a sustainable plan moving forward along with the tools to succeed where most don't.
With over 40% of our nation addicted to some sort of substance and 60% of our country prescribed an Anxiety or Depression R/X, you don't need to feel bad about getting help.
Scientists have proven addiction to alcohol is a destructive disease & there is treatment that can set you up for your new life.
If it was Diabetes, or Cancer, you would get help immediately. Addiction is no different and doesn't care how old you are, the color of your skin, nor does it matter if you are a Doctor or Lawyer.
I am surrounded by people of all sorts and you won't want to leave after 4 weeks, the path forward is clear by then but this will be something you have to work on for the rest of your life.
Best Wishes to the Staff here & for the reader, it's a small investment for your future that you can do for yourself & your family..
I would like to start off by saying Willow Springs was absolutely life-changing. I learned so much in 30 days that I did not think was even possible. The staff is absolutely amazing and are very helpful. The counselors are amazing. I want to give a shout out to Jentry for being the absolute best, and helping me through my journey. This is an experience in my life that I will never ever forget and I appreciate the opportunity. Another shout out to Lori the nurse she was like a mom to me. She was absolutely amazing and I cannot thank her more. On another plus side The food is absolutely phenomenal! They sure do help you in anyway that they can at Willow Springs Recovery. Thank you, thank you thank you!
