Virtue saved my life literally and metaphorically. Anyone who is going through it and seeking help I would recommend this place a thousand times over. The staff is top notch from the directors and front office all the way to the kitchen and housekeeping . I came to virtue a broken man desperately trying to overcome and combat my alcoholism for good. Upon arriving the warmly welcomed me and gave me a tour and then showed me to my room. Detox wasn't easy but the nurses always checked on me to make sure I was OK and if I needed anything. After detox I moved over to the residential side and continued my treatment. They put together a fantastic setting with education , multiple group sessions , 1 on 1 therapy sessions and Dr and Psych visits as well. Everyone you come in contact with genuinely cares about your recovery and wants to see you thrive and become and stay clean. There were a few individuals who were the absolute cornerstone in my recovery like Steven, Keri and Michelle along with Kim , Homer and Ben. Mike was great for any medical advice or questions I had and Steven always there with an open door if I needed a quick 1 on 1 therapy session. Last but not least I wanna give an extra shout out to Floyd, not only did he push me, challenge my thoughts, guide and believe in me , he was always there if needed anything. He always had an ear to listen if I needed to talk, he gave me phenomenal advice and most importantly I could tell he genuinely cared about my well-being and wanted to see me succeed and conquer my disease (alcoholism). Im am forever indebted to him and Virtue, I thank God for them and am beyond grateful.. So again if you too like i was and need help I highly recommend and encourage you to go there. They will go out of their way to get you where you wanna be (Clean).
I wanted to go into treatment without feeling like I was broken. I needed a safe place to unpack a lot of things that caused my habit. My case manager Cameshia was great. The GM Tommy was also amazing. This place was top notch. When they say luxury that's what they mean the food, staff, meetings, doctors and nurses were all so helpful!! I highly recommend you take that step with Virtue the Corbett location for your recovery!!
Every staff member including therapists, technical staff, and counselors truly change lives. They are kind, caring, and attentive to everyone who walks through their doors. The care, group sessions, and camaraderie you make here all make becoming sober immensely easier. Floyd, Kim, Aliyah, Patricia, Jessica, Michelle, Keri, Stephen, and Dianna all contributed to a joyful recovery experience.
I could not be more grateful for the support and care that the staff showed me, I found a road to recovery at virtue. From the techs to the therapist they are some of the most kind and good hearted people I've ever met. If you're struggling I implore you to reach out to them. You are not treated like a patient, you're treated like a human.
I have to say that Virtue Recovery is by far the best place I could have ever chosen to get the help I so desperately needed. The entire Virtue staff are the most attentive and supportive people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The entire facility is gorgeous, the cleaning staff do a remarkable job. The chief and cooks are so amazing and every meal was so yummy (They even were so accommodating when I got dental work done and it was so painful to chew)! The therapists are the best and I LOVED all our group discussions. I have to give a MASSIVE shout out to Floyd, Kim, Aliyah, and Jess…. they supported me and had my back when I felt like I was just falling down. The Nurses are all freaking wonderful too! I can’t even put into words how incredibly grateful I am for everyone. If you’re struggling, you’re not alone. I have made the deepest friendships while I (and everyone else) learned how to navigate this journey to recovery. It’s not a fix all, it’s the stepping stone to start building your new foundation.
Please, if you are on the fence…. Just take the leap and invest in yourself. YOU are what is important, not anyone or anything else. YOU are here for a purpose and Virtue is here to help you find yourself without your addiction. XOXO - Shelly
