True Self Recovery

I'm just about to graduate and complete my stay here at True Self Recovery. Outstanding is a word fit to describe my experience here. Absolutely God sent! I mean everything seemed to have fallen exactly into place for me. I realize putting in the effort myself is necessary for success! Willingness and an ambition inside is obviously required. However the treatment staff here have gone WAY beyond what's required for them. They put their hearts and souls into the residents and our every need. For instance, my house mom Angie has become so much more than just staff to me. She is my friend. She cares about things that are not under her job description to show concern for. It's why I feel it working differently this time. Than ALL the rehabs and treatment facilities I've been to. We can all see God's Will and His Way as it unfolds. My counselor Amber just called me on a Sunday to let me know I have, in fact, been accepted into a transitional living ..that I've been working towards going to. This is a new experience for me and I'm so excited and grateful. I see all the hard work I've put in and my counselor... All the way from California.. putting in the extra work on her time off.. for us/for me. Words can't explain my gratitude. Thank you True Self. Sincerely, Amanda Carter

It was my honor to guest speak in a packed class room at True Self Recovery in Rogers Arkansas. 40 attendees, clients from 18 to 70 years of age were eager to listen, engage, discuss and ask honest open questions. They were there from all walks of life, sexual identities, ages, cultures and backgrounds to learn, grow and become better individuals. They were facing their addictions and life circumstances head on! I was extremely impressed with the dedication and the interaction of the supportive staff, Tommy, Amber, Margie and many more!!! A team that stands behind together everyone achieves more. True self lives up to its name for helping and walking with all people on their healing journey. I had a very good experience at True Self. The support staff was very thorough, Efficient, and supportive. The daily groups and the group leaders were very informative, engaging, and entertaining at times. They kept you involved. All the counselors were great and very knowledgeable. My counselor, Keith, was down to earth, accepting, but held you very accountable. The housing was very nice, new and in a safe location. I would recommend True self to anyone that is struggling.

Michelle’s house helped me in so many ways and I’m forever grateful for the support and love she showed me during a low point in my life. She helped me feel the confidence I needed to get back on my feet and gave me the structure I desperately needed. The ABSOLUTE best house manager I could have ever asked for. 10/10 RECOMMEND!!! This place, especially Michelle and Amber, saved my life and got me where I needed to be. I hope to pay it forward when the time comes.

The counselors and staff at True Self Recovery do a great job at providing the tools to lead a sober life. The amount of education they provide about alcoholism and addiction have been very beneficial to my treatment. They also provide opportunities for getting on your feet post-treatment. They even provide other facets of help such as psychiatric and trauma counseling as well as addressing mental health. They really do a great job at being empathetic as they have been through their own recovery. If needing help I highly recommend this treatment facility.
