The housing is five star. Could not ask for better accommodations our housing is beautiful. Angie is the best house Mom. She is one of us and understands and cares about our needs. It has been an honor having her participating in my recovery and my life.
True Self Recovery is absolutely amazing, they are giving me the chance to have a new life, one free of drugs and alcohol. The staff treats me like family, giving me hope and security that I have never had in my whole life. They are protecting and nurturing, helping me every step of the way. Dylan is an awesome counselor that makes me want to take the steps to accomplish my dream of having peace, that I've been desperately seeking! My house manager, Catherine, gives me the courage to get up every morning, makes sure I'm accountable for all aspects in my life. and gives me the strength to make it through the day. Now I am taking the steps to grow and become the person my parents raised me to be!!! Thank you True Self Recovery for giving me this opportunity that I deserve for a clean and sober life!!!!!
True self recovery has saved my life. It has truely been a miracle. This program has taught me so many skills to build a better life for myself. I have made so many friends through this facility and met so many great facilitators. Catherine is an amazing house mom. She goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy in everything that is happening. She takes amazing care of all of us. And fancy, her dog, is just the highlight of our day. I can not thank the amazing people of true self recovery enough for helping me along this journey of recovery and starting my new life.
True Self Recovery is amazing. All the teachers are amazing and teach great classes. There are so many resources here and so many people willing to help. My counselor Amber is AWESOME, she is very considerate, a good listener, gives great advice, and knows how to calm me down when needed. My house manager Angie she is a blessing, she always makes sure we are where we need to be on time, goes out of her way to take us to Casey’s every morning, and does a great job of handling all our meds. If you need some help or to start over this is place is a great start. There is also two cute dogs that run around (Brady and Truly) and that is a great perk saying many of us are missing our own fur babies. I would recommend this place to anyone. I am here for 60 days and am thinking about staying 90 because it is so great here. Highly recommend 10/10!!!
True self recovery is THE place to go if you’re struggling with substance abuse. They have been a God send to my life. The counselors are amazing and understanding, as many of them are also in recovery and understanding the importance of the steps we are taking to try to get clean and sober. They treat you like an adult and give you privileges other treatment centers don’t offer. It keeps you in a protective bubble but after awhile of being in the program they encourage you to get a part time job, go on passes to visit family and then come back and process the struggles you may have faced at work or back home. Other treatment centers keep you in their protective bubble then throw you out back into the “real world” which in my experience sets me up for disaster. They help you get into sober living and continue to support you the further you get into your recovery. Once you have graduated the program you can go back and sit in classes anytime which is awesome. They are VERY respectful of your privacy and protected me against an abusive ex who kept calling trying to get information about me and find out when and where our weekly family outings were. I’m forever grateful for that. I’m also forever grateful for True Self and ALL their staff members for the care and help they provided me. I’ve told everyone I know struggling with substance abuse to call True Self. They’re amazing!!!
