Tranquility Woods in Maryland offers excellent care for addiction and mental health issues. We specialize in treating both conditions together. Our 40-client program includes detox, therapy, and holistic methods in a peaceful 40-acre forest. We have skilled staff, custom care plans, and various healing activities to help people start the journey of addiction recovery.

Tranquility woods is a great recovery center and I would recommend it 100%. The facilities are amazing and top quality. Tranquility woods addiction treatment center was a great experience. The staff are all extremely helpful and most of them have been through treatment themselves at some point in their lives. This was very helpful because they can relate and understand what we are going through on a personal level and provide the best care. The program itself was packed full of helpful recovery information and tools to help us with positive coping skills to take back out into daily life. I learned months worth of information in just 30 days. The food was great and healthy, we got amazing massages and acupuncture, got to work out every day and do fun outing events like rock climbing, and they provided one on one counseling sessions for mental health and addiction. This place is a blessing to me and I’m very grateful I chose tranquility woods!
I have been trying to get my mental health and addiction under control for the past 22 years. I have been to 6 other residential programs. This has been the best experience I've ever had. We worked so much on my root causes, core beliefs, and building up to love myself. Every member of the staff was phenomenal, respectful, treated me like a human being, and showed me love when I couldn't live myself. I got in touch with my mind, body, and spirit. The fresh cooking every day by the kitchen staff was always surprising, nutritional, and delicious. The property is well maintained, even in the winter, and gorgeous. I feel so comfortable in my full sized bed. We have opportunities to go out and explore, go on weekend outings, and go to a fabulous church that's nondenominational. I am so grateful to have found this hidden gem of a facility and am enthused leaving here worth the groundwork and tools to embark on the next phase of my life journey.
Tranquility Woods was exactly what I needed. The staff was professional and all my needs were met far beyond expectations. I felt safe and comfortable in the environment which encouraged me to work on myself with the help of the staff. The environment was warming and the chef is the best!
