What Our Patients Say About Us

Patient

Parkside was my saving grace when entering recovery. Majority of the staff is caring with an awesome sense of humor and humility. The clinicians are attentive and a special recognition should go out to my counselor, Tim G who has forever impacted my life. The food is edible and they have recently implemented various activities in with their traditional 12 step group therapies. Parkside is not without flaws, but is ever evolving. Just like most things in this world, you will most certainly get out of it what you put in to it. Go in with an open mind and a willingness to change, and Parkside will help you do the rest.

Patient

Parkside definitely saved my life! I met wonderful people there, that I will never forget such as other patients & staff members. Without the wonderful group of people that were there for me & with me, I don’t know what I would have done or how I would have gotten through my days there. The people definitely made it possible and A LOT easier than it would have been if I tried to do it alone!

A convenient to get to & quiet location that helps give a recovery environment in a building that has a nice layout for the multiple activities you partake in daily. Including a nice nature area for quiet self reflection and healthy walks as well as social recreation such as basketball and horse shoes. The Staff though makes the place Great... Friendly people with different backrounds that are all their to give you guidance and a nice cafeteria with full salad bar...Friday night pizza night and Sunday night ice cream night are great for morale. A nightly movie before bed gives a nice Finnish each day.

I was at Parkside in September. I got to learn a lot and built a solid foundation for my recovery. I met great people and the facility was nice. During in patient, Haley was my counselor and she did a wonderful job getting me started on the right foot and helping me find out a lot about myself that I did not know. Haley also kept the mood of the facility in good spirits and always ran great groups. I also completed IOP at Parkside. Leslie was my counselor for IOP and I was always excited to show up for IOP because her groups were very effective and informative. Leslie did a great job making me discuss more and continued to help me grow in early recovery. Haley and Leslie really make Parkside a better place and I am grateful that I got to work with both of them. You can tell they enjoy what they do for a living and they really helped me get off to a good start!
