What Our Patients Say About Us

Thank you so much Recovery Village!

This was my first experience at a rehab facility and I stayed 40 days. I would not have made it past the first few days if it had not been for the amazing staff and their sincere empathy. I couldn’t have felt in better hands, and I am proud to have completed the program and to have met so many great people. Every staff member I encountered was immensely helpful and kind! Thank you so much Recovery Village!

Recovery Village Ridgefield absolutely saved my life

Recovery Village Ridgefield absolutely saved my life. I never thought I’d say this but I sort of miss it. Since being home, I’ve had some very difficult tests and fortunately, with the coping skills that I was taught at RVR, I was able to overcome them and continue my sobriety. I now look at life through a clear lens. I don’t have to worry about when or how I can get my next fix. I don’t have to worry about hiding it from my spouse, friends, or family. I don’t have to worry about OD’ing. I’m able to move through life feeling like my true self.

If you’re on the fence about Recovery Village, just give it a try. You can always leave whenever you want but, the amazing staff will be there to help you, fight for you, and guide you to your best self. I cannot thank the staff enough for what they do on a day in day out basis. I’m truly blessed to have gone through their program. Sober Summer Camp 2023!

I can’t thank this place enough for getting me sober and showing me why i should choose to live. The nurses are the best staff out of the entire team. Nurse Angie and Nurse Toni were amazing and my rocks throughout the whole stay. Most of the counselors are good, however, Ken, he is awful. He insists he’ll meet with you one day but pushes it back a few days every week. If you want to get a family session in, you have to hunt him down. He gives no guidance during family sessions and every client he’s had has said the same. I think he robs some people’s chance at actually talking to him about why they came there. He writes off a 2 minute family session as a family session even if all you got out of the convo was “hey”. Other than that, the BHTs were lovely, the nurses were amazing and the cooks and food was great. Cook Michelle deserves a raise because that lady puts love into her food, she is so wonderful, calm and caring. Tasha once you get to PHP 1 is one of the best teachers. She works deep with you and helps you get through some of the trauma. It’s amazing. That’s all i have. Thank you Recovery Village.

My name is Rob and I am at 18 months sober from alcohol. I will say this straight up! It has been the toughest journey I have ever been on but at the exact same time it also has been the most powerful thing I have ever Experience. I spent 30 years as a heavy drinker, I would like to say to anyone out there that is struggling from a addiction, I am a prime example that it can be done and I promise you this. It starts with YOU! You need to want it 110 percent. If you do, you are already starting your journey. You will start by being the scaredest you’ve ever been, But Recovery Village, once you take the step, within the first 24 hour that goes away. This has been my first time getting treatment so I know that feeling very well. so all I’m asking from brother to brother brother to sister please take the step, I promise you again that you will feel like you’ve been reborn I have 1 million pictures of what I’ve done in the last 18 months because I’m sober take the step it’s never too late turning 50 and I’ve never felt so alive please and thank you. Rob

They were the only place that would take my insurance for one thing. All of the staff are respectful and understanding of our needs. 90% of the counselor/instructors are super smart, and teach us what we really need to know. I made a lot of good friends. The kitchen crew went out of their way for my special diet. The detox is THE best I've been to. It did what it was supposed to. I'm happy I went!

Treatment is what you make it. If you allow yourself to get help, you will be helped. Things may not always go the way you planned or the way you want it, but everyone at the recovery village Ridgefield drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility is there for one thing. To help you get better. The staff was great. The classes were great. The food was really good. Lots of opportunity to ReDiscover yourself. I highly recommend.
