The Recovery Village Ridgefield Drug and Alcohol Rehab

I can’t speak highly enough of this place after attending their residential treatment for 18 days, partial hospitalization living in a cottage for 27 days, then another month in their intensive outpatient program. Although I would suggest RVR to anyone with the most severe addiction issues, I especially recommend them to people who may be mostly functional and think they are borderline on the spectrum of substance use disorder. I was in the latter category but wish I came here years ago. They got me in the same day I sought out treatment. I’ve stayed sober for over 80 days at the time of this post and feel like a different person on a progressive path towards being my best self. The treatment program was ideally constructed to create an atmosphere of growth, safety, and connection by expert mental health professionals. They were all very good and a handful of the clinician instructors were exceptional, greatly exceeding expectations. The behavioral health technicians and nurses also routinely went above and beyond. I particularly appreciated the attention of a skillful individual therapist during my time there and the way they set us up for success in recovery. This isn’t just a place to get sober but a recovery path for long-term sobriety and growth. THANK YOU!

They were the only place that would take my insurance for one thing. All of the staff are respectful and understanding of our needs. 90% of the counselor/instructors are super smart, and teach us what we really need to know. I made a lot of good friends. The kitchen crew went out of their way for my special diet. The detox is THE best I've been to. It did what it was supposed to. I'm happy I went!

Treatment is what you make it. If you allow yourself to get help, you will be helped. Things may not always go the way you planned or the way you want it, but everyone at the recovery village Ridgefield drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility is there for one thing. To help you get better. The staff was great. The classes were great. The food was really good. Lots of opportunity to ReDiscover yourself. I highly recommend.

My name is Rob and I am at 18 months sober from alcohol. I will say this straight up! It has been the toughest journey I have ever been on but at the exact same time it also has been the most powerful thing I have ever Experience. I spent 30 years as a heavy drinker, I would like to say to anyone out there that is struggling from a addiction, I am a prime example that it can be done and I promise you this. It starts with YOU! You need to want it 110 percent. If you do, you are already starting your journey. You will start by being the scaredest you’ve ever been, But Recovery Village, once you take the step, within the first 24 hour that goes away. This has been my first time getting treatment so I know that feeling very well. so all I’m asking from brother to brother brother to sister please take the step, I promise you again that you will feel like you’ve been reborn I have 1 million pictures of what I’ve done in the last 18 months because I’m sober take the step it’s never too late turning 50 and I’ve never felt so alive please and thank you. I came into detox at Ridgefield not knowing what my next steps were. I left knowing a direction to go in. The staff were amazing and very considerate. They knew what is what like to be in treatment and treated me as a person. I would recommend Ridgefield to everyone who needs some help, they made a difference in my life.
