About The Orchard on the Brazos

Orchard on the Brazos’ peaceful campus has 6 separate, specifically crafted homes. They provide meeting and therapy buildings, men’s housing, women’s housing, premier housing, a recreation building, long-term housing, and detox housing. Each tasteful home has large windows to take full advantage of their location, and with private bedrooms in all residential and long-term housing, treatment feels private and personal. Orchard on the Brazos’ clinical and non-clinical staff are highly qualified and experienced in treating addiction and co-occurring disorders. They operate with compassion and empathy, understanding that each person is unique and brings in a past incomparable to anyone else.

What Our Patients Say About Us

Excellent

The Orchard on the Brazos is an excellent recovery center. The counselors, the family support people and the admissions people are very caring, positive and encouraging. They have helped my daughter tremendously. They provided great educational opportunities and support groups for the loved one's family. They have great referral resources as well as your loved one continues on in their recovery. I'm very grateful for all the people at the Orchard who have helped my daughter.

Fantastic

I can think of nothing but positive things to say about the Orchard. The basics, like living arrangements, meals, etc... are world class. The staff is amazing, from the sweet cleaning ladies, to the amazing nurses, fantastic chefs, and the most amazing technicians. I loved the counselors and Ms. Jane is an angel. Dan L. has put together a one of a kind recovery experience and I owe him my life for creating this place. I can not recommend it enough.

Forever Grateful

I am so truly grateful for discovering The Orchard. Some pretty incredible things are happening at this place. Having been to treatment a few times in the past, I was extremely hesitant to end up at another place where I was just a name on the list. That certainly wasn't the case here. Extraordinary staff with experience facing all aspects of addiction and recovery . Every single person there has an authentic interest inthe success of each resident. They go above and beyond. It sure was icing on the cake that the entire place is beautiful! Every inch of the property has been expertly curated to culminate in what was a life changing experience for me. Treatment can be hard to face but The Orchard turned my biggest fear in to a dream come true. If you or someone you love needs help, this is the place to go. They are there to help build a strong foundation for long-term sobriety. Hands down the best of the best.

My wife and I are grateful for the program here at The Orchard on the Brazos. The team there has shown that a program uniquely designed to treat addiction while maintaining dignity is the best way to achieve and maintain sobriety. Additionally, their family programs are second to none. We attended a weekend event that was incredibly helpful to us. And, my wife and I have been attending their weekly family zoom meeting for 16 months. Not coincidentally, our loved one is 16 months sober. This meeting, run by Fallon has been instrumental in our own recovery. Fallon provides a very safe space to discuss various topics pertinent to family recover. We're very grateful for these meetings and plan to continue attending.

I don’t usually write reviews, but The Orchard deserves every word of praise I can offer. The property is stunning—peaceful, serene, and truly healing. It felt comfortable - like a home away from home… but better. The grounds are immaculate, the food is consistently delicious, and everything is kept incredibly clean and welcoming. What truly sets The Orchard apart is the staff. Every person I encountered—from counselors to kitchen staff—was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in my recovery. I wasn’t treated like a number or a case file. I was treated like a person, with dignity and care. I could trust them, and that trust became the foundation for my healing. This place is different than other rehabs. It’s not just about getting sober—it’s about learning how to live a joyful, meaningful life in sobriety. They took the time to work with me, to teach me, and to walk beside me through the hardest parts. Today, I’m celebrating 3 years sober. I owe that milestone—and so much more—to The Orchard. Coming here changed my life. I couldn’t be more grateful. If you’re looking for a place that truly cares, that nurtures your spirit as much as your recovery, this is it.

Unfortunately, we have had two experiences with the Orchard with two of our adult children. I wrote unfortunately, because no one should have to experience their children battling addiction. We had previous experience at another organization that was fruitless. This was a whole new version. The professionals at the Orchard care not only for the residents, but also provide forums for the family members as well. It is a welcoming caring environment, where family participation is encouraged, because we all need healing in some respects. For those who are just about at their wits end, there is hope. Let me also say this is not a miracle place, our kids have work that they need to do. As a Dad, I would encourage you to fully check out the facilities, programs and staff. We have been very blessed with our experiences.

The people at The Orchard truly care about their residents. They also care about the recovery of family members of the addict. If you or a loved one struggle with addiction I highly recommend The Orchard. It is very different than any other rehab facility I have come across and I am forever grateful that we found it!
