Sunrise Detox – Cherry Hill

Sunrise Detox has been a great experience for me. The staff is super caring and helpful, especially my counselor Dan! He’s the man! Food was terrific. The nursing staff was accommodating. I would highly recommend this facility for anyone needing help.

First time in detox and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. All the staff were very accommodating, supportive, and genuine. My counselor Dan helped me so much throughout the process and made sure everything was in my best interest for betting myself and I couldn’t be more appreciative. Highly recommend

Sunrise Cherry Hill has saved my life. The entire team are professional and accomplished. My counselor Dan was brilliant and able to relate through his personal experiences. This detox and Dan aren’t just concerned with getting someone sober. They go next level. They worked to give me tools to be able to stay sober and that’s a key distinction. I highly recommend anyone who realized they need help and cannot do it on their own to go to Sunrise. Then listen and follow their guidance. It works.

I just discharged from sunrise cherry hill today, 2/2/24. I have been to Toms River Sunrise and Stirling Sunrise. Cherry Hill is BY FAR the best of them all. From the techs, to the counselors, all the way up to the clinical director, they are an amazing group of people. Let me just clarify why. When I’ve been to some of the other sunrise detoxes in the past, the staff didn’t care much about my motivation and seemed to only care about making money. Granted, these places are businesses, so they do have to make their money, no doubt. But when there is a clinical director who actually listens, it makes a huge difference. That’s what Cherry Hill had to offer. I came in so utterly defeated and ready to surrender. And they listened. And saw it in my eyes. It made my days go by much easier and faster. Also, I have a sensitive stomach. I had trouble eating even simple breakfasts. And the clinical director personally went to the chef and asked him to amend the menu for me. No questions asked. No problems. I certainly don’t mean to knock any of the other sunrises, there are plenty of people who find their recovery at those facilities too. But when simple requests are accommodated rather than ignored, it just makes you feel better. I sincerely appreciate what cherry hill sunrise had to offer. It’s large enough to be able to move around and small enough to get the personalized care you truly need. The other sunrises in my opinion just don’t have that exact balance. And I have never had such a positive experience in a detox program. If you’re choosing a sunrise to go to, I would highly suggest Cherry Hill over all of them. You will not be sorry. -Chip
