Sunrise Detox – Cherry Hill

Sunrise Cherry Hill has saved my life. The entire team are professional and accomplished. My counselor Dan was brilliant and able to relate through his personal experiences. This detox and Dan aren’t just concerned with getting someone sober. They go next level. They worked to give me tools to be able to stay sober and that’s a key distinction. I highly recommend anyone who realized they need help and cannot do it on their own to go to Sunrise. Then listen and follow their guidance. It works.

I just discharged from sunrise cherry hill today, 2/2/24. I have been to Toms River Sunrise and Stirling Sunrise. Cherry Hill is BY FAR the best of them all. From the techs, to the counselors, all the way up to the clinical director, they are an amazing group of people. Let me just clarify why. When I’ve been to some of the other sunrise detoxes in the past, the staff didn’t care much about my motivation and seemed to only care about making money. Granted, these places are businesses, so they do have to make their money, no doubt. But when there is a clinical director who actually listens, it makes a huge difference. That’s what Cherry Hill had to offer. I came in so utterly defeated and ready to surrender. And they listened. And saw it in my eyes. It made my days go by much easier and faster. Also, I have a sensitive stomach. I had trouble eating even simple breakfasts. And the clinical director personally went to the chef and asked him to amend the menu for me. No questions asked. No problems. I certainly don’t mean to knock any of the other sunrises, there are plenty of people who find their recovery at those facilities too. But when simple requests are accommodated rather than ignored, it just makes you feel better. I sincerely appreciate what cherry hill sunrise had to offer. It’s large enough to be able to move around and small enough to get the personalized care you truly need. The other sunrises in my opinion just don’t have that exact balance. And I have never had such a positive experience in a detox program. If you’re choosing a sunrise to go to, I would highly suggest Cherry Hill over all of them. You will not be sorry. -Chip

All of the positive reviews on here are exactly what I wanted to say! I left Weds after a 5 day stay. The food is amazing amd they put the leftovers in the fridge, individually wrapped for access at any time of day or night). Rooms are very comfy and have a TV with tons of streaming services (most are free). The staff is beyond friendly and seem to always know my name even though I've only been there once. I feel renewed and hopeful for the first time. I spilled all my secrets about my alcoholism to my family and boyfriend so we feel closer to each other than ever and I owe most of that "openess" to your group sessions and just chatting with the other residents. Thank you from the bottom of my soul for saving my life, my family and my boyfriend of 13 years. I LOVE YOU ALL!

Amazing place helped me get my life together the staff is also amazing can’t thank every one of them enough.

The entire staff there was nothing but kind and respectful. They will help you get set up at another place when you’re done detox if necessary. There are tvs in every room. The common room is nice. The food is good. They have 24 hour staff to make sure you’re comfortable. Washer and dryer you have access to. Definitely a nice place to be comfortable during recovery.
