Just finished my program at Stonegate. This facility is gorgeous and the staff treat you very well. I enjoyed my stay here and the 12 step stepwork is extremely helpful and effective. The facility itself is well run and full of love for the clients. I would highly recommend this treatment center to anyone struggling with addiction and/or alcoholism. Bettina, Sydney, America, Lauren, Carter, and Rachel, are all amazing and very helpful- at the women's center. If you’re looking for a treatment center to actually take action towards recovery, this is it. Highly recommend and great experience.
Just finished 34 days here and I learned more about myself in this past month than I ever have in my lifetime. The step work is in depth, and is gone over with staff after each one you complete, to ensure understanding and effectiveness. The staff and counselors made me feel as if I were at home.
The bad reviews of the people who were kicked out had several warnings and chances to correct the disruptive behaivors they were displaying before being asked to leave. Stonegate does not allow people to be there and disrupt the ones that truly want to be there. I will recommend this treatment facility to anyone. This is nothing like a state ran facility. All the staff truly are there because they want to be, a lot are in recovery themselves and have walked in our shoes before. I love you all, Bettina, Sydney, America, Lauren, Rachel, Dana, Shonda, Theresa, and Elisha. Thank you Stonegate!
I’m a die-hard Stonegate Center fan, through and through. And, I love everything about this place. My first taste of Stonegate Center came in 2010 when when we sent our cousin here for drug and alcohol treatment. He was a member of the first class that ever passed through its doors - back when it was just one red barn. Now, it’s exploded into a 125+ acre campus and with two gender-separate areas for men and women, and is staffed by some of the best, hard-working employees this area offers.
I love this place as a family member of a former client, but now even more as an employee. I was lucky enough to be hired on as a Business Development Representative a couple years out of college and haven’t looked back since.
The thing about Stonegate is that it’s designed to be tough. It’s designed to challenge you and to cause you to take a deep, introspective look into the disease of addiction and how it’s negatively impacted your (and your family’s) life. We don’t want you coming through our program saying, “Eh, it was okay.” Frankly, we want to make you into the best person you can be, and that requires work. A daily grind. If you’re looking for easy treatment or an easy way out, look elsewhere. We want to help our clients acheive longterm sobriety and just be well-rounded, badass pillars in their community. And to do so, Stonegate hires strong, passionate, and empowering people who aren’t afraid to tell you the honest truth. But, who will also do anything to save your life.
I’m blessed to be able to learn from Stonegate’s excellent clinicians (Satchel, Will, Jacobie, Jim, Clint, Tara, Julia, Alfredo, and everyone else). They’ve educated me on clinical psychology and the therapeutic approaches that go into our clients’ treatment. Not to mention, they’ve even helped coach me through my own personal struggles. They’re phenomenal.
As for our admissions team (Donna & Dusty), they work their tail off. When I cut out of work, they’re still in the War Room talking to clients, parents, other members in the Recovery Community - all to make sure each client lands somewhere safe and with all the tools necessary for sobriety. These guys are on call 24/7/365, and are the voice you first hear when you call us at 3am needing help.
Now, to the real heroes... the men and women who get no credit but affect the most change: our Recovery Advocates, Program Directors, and Client Services Personnel. These guys (Allison, Stephanie, Alaina, Hannah, James, Austin & Austin, Dylan, Lester, Gino, Zach, Jason, Kelsey & Kelsey, Meghann, David, Josh, Martin, have taught me everything about the 12-Steps and Recovery. And just like our clients, they have no problem holding me accountable or telling me when I’m wrong. But, man, they rock! They go out of their way to sit with our clients, go through each step, hold everybody to a higher standard, and save lives.
If you asked me 5 years ago what I thought my future would look like, I never would have imagined myself here. But, God has a way of pushing us in the right direction. I’ve never been more proud to work for a company in my life. And, I hope I can be an effective resource in the community and make recovery fun for our clients. Here’s to a bright future!
