SOBA New Jersey Drug & Alcohol Rehab

One of the best decisions I've made in my life was enrolling in SOBA'S Drug & Alchohol treatment facility located at 104 Bayard street in New Brunswick, NJ. I was only doing detox for 7 days but after experiencing the kind of care provided I decided to move up to residencial for 19 more days. The staff, from technicians, clinicians, nurses, doctors, maintenance and kitchen, are all experienced professionals that took their time with each client to make us all feel welcomed, comfortable and safe. They all thrive in a very stressful environment and always go the extra mile to meet all our needs. From group interactions to one on one therapy to administrative work, all areas are covered so as clients, we don't have to worry about the outside world. They give us the tools to beat addiction and become a better version of ourselves. They create an environment of camaraderie were all are rowing in the same direction. Mike, the director of the facility, makes you feel like an old friend and he's always available to make sure one gets the best treatment possible. Residential clients have daily access to a state of the art gym facility with pools, saunas and steam rooms. The food provided is outstanding and there's more than enough snacks available at all times. We have daily meeting from members of different fellowships like NA, AA and Smart Recovery. It was really hard to say goodbye as I move on to the next phase of my journey in sobriety. I'll never forget this experience and was the right place to take my first steps towards achieving sober living for the rest of my life. Can't thank all of them enough.

I had an amazing experience at SOBA, I spent 24 days in residential and from there the amazing staff and directors sponsored me to move into their sober house and extended my stay into their PHP program. The entirety of the staff was truly amazing and truly cares about your recovery as if it were their own. The groups were the perfect size and I had a counselor who worked with me each day one on one to guide through each step of the recovery process. The amenities were great and the chef was amazing, I was eating better than I ever have and miss the food to this day. We had access to a great gym. As well my counselor kept my family updated through out the whole process and offered family therapy to help them as well. All in all I truly do not believe I would be where I am today and feeling the way I do today without the help of SOBA. I never felt like just another number to pass through the process, I truly felt more comfortable than I ever have talking and opening up. I have a new lease on life that I have to thank SOBA for. If you or a loved one are seeking help I would highly suggested considering SOBA for help in recovery.

If your ready to get sober then SOBA is the perfect place to start. I was addicted to meth and alcohol for 15 years and living in Oklahoma. SOBA flew me to there detox clinic in NJ where I stayed for a month. I found every excuse in the book to leave the clinic (that was the addiction talking) but Mike convinced me to stay every time. Then I went to PHP for a few months to re-learn how to be a outstanding citizen. Freddy and Rich and the whole staff made sure I didn't give up and they worked around the clock to give me the care that I needed to successfully stay off drugs and alcohol. I did what was required of me and took the advice from those that were living the sober life. We had fun in the process and even had a service therapy dog! This was almost two years ago. I'm still sober :) I got engaged and started a family :) I posted pictures of my baby shower with my SOBA family, my sponsor, my fiancee and my daughter. I came to SOBA from Oklahoma with no family or friends. Now I'm living a full life💞 Thank you SOBA 💋

My experience at the Soba House in New Brunswick, New Jersey has been nothing short of life changing. From the moment I arrived the staff made me feel supported respected, and genuinely cared for. Their compassion and dedication played a huge role in my alcohol recovery, and I never once felt alone there on my personal journey. Everyone there from the counselors to the support team created an environment where I could heal, grow, and rediscover confidence in myself. I’m truly grateful for the kindness and encouragement that they’ve showed me every step of the way. Big shouts out to HOV, MIKE, and DAVE for making my experience at the Soba house feel welcoming. With the movie nights, to morning check ins, I felt like I was at home. I truly miss everyone that I’ve made connections with and they have helped me build the confidence into myself and my spirit to fully heal and to understand myself in ways that i couldn’t. Thank y’all for everything!

I would like to thank all the wonderful people I met at Soba.. from the nurses "Julie" and all the techs staff. They are an amazing group of people.. this place really knows how to do it. It's so clean and the food is something that I can't explain how good it was. I mean we had lamb chops for lunch full salad bar with a gourmet chef. I banged head alittle with clinical staff only to realize they were trying to help me. To which I am truly sorry about. I spent 4 weeks there and even the other patience became like family was truly a wonderful group that made all the difference. I'm not going to say it was all fun but through bouts of depression and PTSD! Things can really get dark... And I really want to thank Mike C for helping through my darkest period.. He sat with me and talked to me about what I need to do and how to get through what I was dealing with and I never had someone to help me like that before. I was all alone. "Thanks Mike "I can't really get into it here but he gave me advice that I will carry always. I'm so glad that I went to soba. It was exactly what I needed to get my life back in order and I can't thank them enough. If you or a loved one need help with this Disease. I promise you that you will not regret trusting this professional group of people.its a small group of people I think I had 7 other patients besides myself. So the level of care is perfect.im clean and im staying clean and my goal is to help people. Even its just one person thats all it will take to satisfy me. I will keep in touch with the others from my group so we can empower each other because that is the right way to remain sober for ourselves and our families. God bless soba.
