What Our Patients Say About Us
Reviews
Skywood Recovery is very special for me and my recovery journey. I love this place, and sincerely believe it saved my life! The help that I received here was second to none. They really care about the patients and their success including mental, dependent, aftercare,. Etc.
My therapist name is Rob and he was excellent. He really understood what I was going through and helped me find a path to sobriety using his past experience and expertise. This is by far the best in patient rehabilitation facility that I have ever been in. The food is fabulous. The people are gracious and kind. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They allowed tobacco use. The grounds are sprawling and there is a lot of things to occupy your time.
I would highly recommend this facility to anybody who is interested in bettering themselves and finding recovery from drug or alcohol dependence. They even help with things like medications and other tools to help achieve long-term sobriety.
Skywood is a great place to start making a big change in your life. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, EXCELLENT meals, and a BEAUTIFUL property. Comfortable is the word that comes to mind for my experience. The therapist lead process group sessions are very high impact and definetly the recovery related highlight. I am surprised at the near total lack of 12 step involvement in their inpatient program though voluntary peer lead 12 step meetings are available in the evenings.
Skywood was the right choice for me. I'd like to give a shout out to RA- Kat, she was amazing, also Therapist Rob, he was a great help with moving forward with my sobriety. Matthew the alumni coordinator was also helpful with a simple talk. Great kitchen and nursing staff, amazing people.
Skywood was an amazing experience for me. I have never been to a rehab facility before and I cannot recommend this place enough! The staff were great and my therapist was the best! I am
A 47yr old wife and mother of 2 teenagers, and I work full time. I have never had issues with addiction in my past but using made me feel
amazing, it made me feel confident and it made my brain quit going and going. I was diagnosed with ADHD and now I am medicated and feel much more normal.
I ended up doing 45 days of in patient and I am doing 8 weeks of out patient.
I am a cocaine addict and I have learned so much about myself mentally and all the skills needed to overcome this disease!
Skywood Recovery has had a major role in saving my life. At the end of the day, it's up to me to stay on the right path, but the support from the Staff, to my Peers I have met through some of the hardest battles in my life, have helped and continue to tremendously. I still attend Alumni Meetings, thanks to Matthew S. bringing the Alumni app back to life and continuing the Zoom Meetings and Alumni Events. It's a great platform to continue recovery and remember that we are a community. The nursing staff is also great. Always nice to be met with a smile when you feel like you're all alone and on your last leg. Thank you Skywood. I encourage anyone serious about getting help to reach out to Skywood. Just be serious because they're there to help as long as you're willing to surrender and commit. Oh, and the food is just the icing on the cake. 5 Stars.
