What Our Patients Say About Us
Reviews
Skywood Recovery is very special for me and my recovery journey. I love this place, and sincerely believe it saved my life! The help that I received here was second to none. They really care about the patients and their success including mental, dependent, aftercare,. Etc.
My therapist name is Rob and he was excellent. He really understood what I was going through and helped me find a path to sobriety using his past experience and expertise. This is by far the best in patient rehabilitation facility that I have ever been in. The food is fabulous. The people are gracious and kind. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They allowed tobacco use. The grounds are sprawling and there is a lot of things to occupy your time.
I would highly recommend this facility to anybody who is interested in bettering themselves and finding recovery from drug or alcohol dependence. They even help with things like medications and other tools to help achieve long-term sobriety.
Skywood was an amazing experience for me. I have never been to a rehab facility before and I cannot recommend this place enough! The staff were great and my therapist was the best! I am
A 47yr old wife and mother of 2 teenagers, and I work full time. I have never had issues with addiction in my past but using made me feel
amazing, it made me feel confident and it made my brain quit going and going. I was diagnosed with ADHD and now I am medicated and feel much more normal.
I ended up doing 45 days of in patient and I am doing 8 weeks of out patient.
I am a cocaine addict and I have learned so much about myself mentally and all the skills needed to overcome this disease!
I chose to detox and recover at Skywood recently and it was the best choice I could have made. I spent 40 days there and I enjoyed the program as a whole. From the staff, classes and peers, the culture was very helpful and enjoyable. Food was always good and the kitchen staff was awesome! I had Angie as a therapist while I was there and she made a huge impact on my recovery. Awesome place, I'm happy there is an inpatient place like this in Michigan.
I had the opportunity to visit Skywood Recovery and I was truly impressed with the environment and staff. Everyone I encountered was welcoming, professional, and clearly passionate about the work they do. The facility itself is peaceful, clean, and well-organized, creating a calming atmosphere that feels supportive for both clients and staff. It was clear that Skywood prioritizes compassionate, quality care and values teamwork. My visit left me with a very positive impression of the program and its mission.
Skywood and their staff saved my life. I visited their facility last February in 2025 and just hit one full year in recovery from alcohol abuse. The staff care because they have been in most of our shoes and have seen the other side, The chefs deserve every praise they can be afforded and the facility itself is beautiful and well cared for. My appreciation for Skywood is deep and voiced almost everyday.
