What Our Patients Say About Us
Reviews
I chose to detox and recover at Skywood recently and it was the best choice I could have made. I spent 40 days there and I enjoyed the program as a whole. From the staff, classes and peers, the culture was very helpful and enjoyable. Food was always good and the kitchen staff was awesome! I had Angie as a therapist while I was there and she made a huge impact on my recovery. Awesome place, I'm happy there is an inpatient place like this in Michigan.
I had the opportunity to visit Skywood Recovery and I was truly impressed with the environment and staff. Everyone I encountered was welcoming, professional, and clearly passionate about the work they do. The facility itself is peaceful, clean, and well-organized, creating a calming atmosphere that feels supportive for both clients and staff. It was clear that Skywood prioritizes compassionate, quality care and values teamwork. My visit left me with a very positive impression of the program and its mission.
Skywood was an amazing experience for me. I have never been to a rehab facility before and I cannot recommend this place enough! The staff were great and my therapist was the best! I am
A 47yr old wife and mother of 2 teenagers, and I work full time. I have never had issues with addiction in my past but using made me feel
amazing, it made me feel confident and it made my brain quit going and going. I was diagnosed with ADHD and now I am medicated and feel much more normal.
I ended up doing 45 days of in patient and I am doing 8 weeks of out patient.
I am a cocaine addict and I have learned so much about myself mentally and all the skills needed to overcome this disease!
Skywood Recovery was about as good of an experience as I could have imagined. I am thoroughly satisfied with my 30 day stay at the Facility. The campus was very beautiful and the clients I got to live with for a Month were a breath of fresh air. I have created some new life long friendships from the experience.
My Therapist, Bailey, was awesome to work with and she helped me identify the areas I needed to work on, and she followed through on everything she said she would do. I also appreciated the feedback given in Group by Tynetta. She is great at her job.
The RAs were easy to work with and were accountable. Hilary, Jake, Kat, Steve-O, AJ, April and Michela I especially want to highlight as being the most memorable to me in my experience. Please keep doing what you are doing you are making an impact on others. Heather has built a strong team.
The nurses were nice to work with, the gym was excellent, and the food was good.
If you need a reset on your life, Skywood is an amazing place to do it. You will not regret it.
I was fortunate to go to Skywood this year. I have been to another facility which I thought was pretty nice. I now know what a Great facility is. The campus alone is beautiful, the woods, the buildings, the trails. The staff are well rounded. Multiple styles of therapy, decades of personal experience all shared in multiple different classes, small groups, one on ones and community wide lessons. Great staff also keep the large campus and large community running. The food, entertainment and activities are constant. The large campus offers plenty of fresh air and room to roam. You are not trapped inside locked buildings. The community bonding in the afternoons and evenings makes for an easy environment to get sober and learn about your sobriety. I would hands down recommend Skywood to anyone who is serious about doing the work and getting sober.
