This is a great place to reset and start your journey to recovery. The staff is caring and knowledgeable, the food is 5 Star, and the campus is INDESCRIBABLE! This is the best of the best in western PA!

I would like to take this opportunity to say this place truly saved my life in so many ways. When I first came to this facility I was in no shape or form to learn or talk. I was just downright miserable to even be here. Amazingly in a matter of 2 weeks of being challenged and triggered to finally talk that’s when things took a positive change. I opened up in a way I never thought possible. I actively shared more in all the groups and took in all the information I could get. You may think yoga is stupid but let me tell ya it’s by far a pleasant experience and releases so much stress and tension. Music therapy is quite interesting and puts into perspective a lot of the songs meanings. Bio bed is absolutely fantastic but it isn’t for everyone. There’s a gym there as a pool. No I didn’t get the pool therapy since it was winter time even though my peers dared me to jump in many times lol 😂Key factors is being able to attend AA and NA meeting throughout the week. I highly recommend this as I have not stopped going since I came out of here. It’s vitally important in your recovery. All of the staff there are there to help you. You may not like all of them but trust me they’ll do whatever they can to help you. All of the therapists there are by far the best out there. I truly can’t thank them enough for everything. Aftercare is top notch as well. Let me tell you one thing for sure you’ll never go hungry. Hands down if I ever worked in the area I would literally stop here for lunch and dinner everyday because that’s how fantastic it is. I’m so grateful that I was a resident/patient here. I’m also grateful I had the option to extend my stay to a total of 60 days. It was totally worth everything. I’m only 2 weeks away from officially being a full year sober and clean for the first time since I was 18. Mind you I’m 34 now and this new life/another chance is just on the top of this world. Again this organization/program played a significant role in this. If you are being honest and are willing to admit you are powerless over your addiction/sickness and want to get help i highly highly recommend this rehab to anyone. I can’t wait to stop in for a visit and hopefully share my story with other individuals there to help them through the program. I've been to a few rehabs and this was definitely the best. It was the most welcoming and beneficial place I've ever been. It was such an incredible experience I often honestly still wish I was back there today. The staff is great and Michelle and Laura cooked the best food I've ever eaten in my entire life. The therapists there are all incredibly nice, sincere, and extremely insightful. Sasha (aka Oleksandra) is by far the best therapist I've ever had in my life. She is a genius wizard that makes you feel so special and you can tell she really really wants to help people. Sasha along with the other therapists run groups where I gained incredible insight that has changed my life. Silvermist gave me tools and resources which improved my whole way of living and is a major reason why I'm still alive and sober. My decision to go to Silvermist was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life.

Silver Mist was not my first rehab however it was the best. The setting and facilities provided a safe and semi secluded environment for work on my recovery. The daily schedule was fairly full and well balanced with process groups and relaxation time. The staff were well in touch with our needs and quirks and provided us with appropriate support. The quality accommodations and meals allowed us to concentrate on ourselves. They provided outings to AA/NA meetings, spiritual growth and on site recreation. The therapists were excellent and very approachable Long term addiction recovery is not easy; if you are willing to do the hard work, Silver Mist provides the framework to succeed. I went to Silvermist just looking to get a completion letter to show the courts, I came away 50 days later with so much more! From the first day I felt a sense of caring and compassion that I'd never experienced before. From the Behavioral Health Technicians who lead by example and showed me recovery is possible, and the excellent clinical staff with their well taught Acceptance and Commitment Therapy program, I was not only shown a new way of living I was taught the skills to maintain a healthy life. Simply put Silvermist saved my life.
