What Our Patients Say About Us
Reviews
I needed help, and this was my first time in treatment, so I didn’t know what to expect. The team at Robert Alexander Center for Recovery was loving, kind, and empathetic from the very start. I was a cash patient, and they worked closely with me and my husband so I could stay for a couple of weeks.
From 8 to 5 each day, the schedule was full of meetings, group therapy, and talk therapy. It was well-organized, comfortable, and very relevant to the alcohol problem I’ve struggled with. In the evenings, they offered AA meetings at 7 if you wanted extra support.
The facility itself was clean and never felt like a prison or something grungy. Bathrooms were cleaned by patients (me personally), but overall everything was kept in good shape. The kitchen staff and cook were absolutely amazing—every meal was made with so much care that it felt like being at home.
The outdoor area was small but had everything you needed: picnic tables, lawn chairs, and spaces to socialize. The staff kept their promise to let us get fresh air. The gym was state-of-the-art. A lot of people chose to spend time outside smoking or vaping, but if you didn’t want to, you had great options.
I’ve now been clean for over a year and involved in outreach, and I just chaired my first AA meeting this weekend. I give a lot of credit to the staff and therapists here—they truly put their time and hearts into helping people understand addiction and start healing.
It was hard, I’m not going to lie, but I loved it. And I truly believe that if you come with the right motives, you can get so much out of this program.
Amazing staff, food and community. The classes are long but worth it. If you get Kayla as a case manager you’re in good hands, and Amanda is definitely the best therapist!
I loved my experience, you need to realize it is a treatment center and no matter how nice it's a hard thing to do but rac is an amazing treatment facility and the staff from the techs to the case managers to the therapists really do care. They do their best to keep your family in the loop, if your considering treatment please look into rac.
I love RAC! It was the best experience I have ever had, and it being my first time in recovery, I had an awesome time. All the staff were SOOOO helpful and very very nice!! The food is soooo good, everything you ask for they have it for you!
