Roaring Brook

I arrived at Roaring Brook fresh out of detox at a wonderful recovery center in Los Angeles. Upon arrival I was treated right out of the gate with love, Care and true human compassion. What little I did know about myself at that time was that I needed to be held accountable, and that my self reliance had failed me utterly. From the first day to my graduation, the entire staff surrounded me with respect, kindness, patience, and understanding. I’m happy for the strong emphasis on AA, the necessity for my life story and the reliance on my relapse prevention plan I really cannot put in to words the impact this program has done for my life. This place literally saved my life! I came in defeated and ready to give up. Now that I am graduating soon I have a successful job. My family and I have reconnected in ways that I never thought possible. I am actually happy and can’t wait to wake up every morning to live my life. Well done Roaring Brook, well done! 💖

Roaring Brook is an awesome place to get treatment from they have tought me how to deal with trauma triggers and gave me really good coping skills. One thing I didn’t know how to do is love myself they even helped with that . Roaring brook recovery loved me back to life and with that I’m forever grateful 😊

Roaring Brook is a top notch facility. I started my journey there in late April of 2023 and was very reluctant and hesitant at first. Roaring Brook is very unique in that their highly educated, empathetic and knowledgeable staff has been where you may currently be. Their backgrounds aren’t strictly academic, they bring their own experiences coupled with their education to provide first class help. Their phased plan approach with hands on group and individual sessions guide patients to achieve their own successes. The assignments Roaring Brook has created as a part of their overall program helps patients to realize what their core problems are and how to successfully address them now and for the future. Roaring Brook is truly focused on helping people who suffer from substance issues and I would highly recommend them based on the experience I have had there.

I cannot speak more highly of the individuals working in Roaring Brook’s program. These folks are genuine in the care and effort they put forth to provide clients with a safe, encouraging, and empowering environment for growth and freedom from addiction/alcoholism. Their program puts an emphasis on addressing mental health with a multitude of therapeutic treatment options, which, in my opinion is unmatched. My experience at Roaring Brook has provided me with mentors that guide with compassion and understanding, fellowship with peers, and a safe place to explore the core of my alcoholism.
