What Our Patients Say About Us

My time at RVA, will always be a time that I'll forever cherish. I was able to build lasting friendships and discover a part of myself I was afraid to face. Being a member of the transgender community life has been rough. RVA was kind enough to provide me with a room of my own. My Therapist Jasmine Jenkins was the best therapist I have ever had l, and I've had a few. Grace the recreational therapist always went above and beyond for of her patients.

The Recovery Village saved my life.Rachel is a very skilled Therapist, with James D.J. And Zime catching her back the other therapists who I was fortunate to work with knew there stuff as well. The high intensity groups are intimidating at first, but after awhile you notice all therapists are on same page which made it easier when the fog lifted. The Bhts took excellent care of our needs and the nurses know their stuff.Overall I give the ATLANTA RECOVERY VILLAGE one of the best reviews I ever wrote. Even the meals were Good in this CLEAN RESORT LIKE PLACE.and on a p.s. GRACE The Recreational therapists was one a kind where she get all those games from to match her bubbling personality is a life time of pleasure rolled into 35 days.. Raymond Epps....
Everybody loves Raymond 😍

I came in a hot mess, but the atmosphere was can do, can get better, 5 star dining I was eating like a king and didn’t know I was recovering already.
The supervisor Manyell was a godsend he was fair and firm but very kind in the way he runs the infrastructure of the staff. My Therapist Devin swear to God taught me so much about reframing my words to give myself a chance and not offending others and not having the same old arguments. Reframe, reroof and rethink . I don’t have to do the same old destructive things. My case manager Diane did a phenomenal job aiding me in finding sober living. Addiction is a beast yall and so many people loved me and helped me here, I’m advocating for them and the truth of my experience here. I had great fellow clients a few local and national celebs. I got 180 degrees opposite of what I expected. It’s for real. If you come here you will find something that I couldn’t find elsewhere professionals with a heart. Shoutout to Rodney he protected me from a dude that went looney tunes. I could have whooped him but that was the old me. I loved my stay and am maintaining my sobriety. Choose Recovery Village I vouch for them. It was a wonderful experience

This place is what you make it. Most people that arent serious leave within a week. If you graduate from here i dont see why you cant stay clean. I met amazing people from here who are serious about recovery. This place was the last house on the block for me. The therapists try to help you the classes are long but make day go by. Generally most of the bhts are pretty nice. The therapist jasmine is very good. I stayed 54 days and it helped me. The food is pretty good sometimes the rooms can be cold or really hot if you ask they will adjust temperature. This place is not gonna give you suboxone or a long taper off benzos. They have meetings every night. There are things that will test you here but if you really want to stay clean you can get thru recovery villiage of atlanta

Honestly one of the better places that I’ve been for treatment. A majority of the staff is awesome and very understanding, the techs are great and make your stay the most comfortable they can. The detox portion is honestly one of the most comfortable detox’s I’ve ever been at. They try to make it as painless and easy as they can to help you get off of whatever it is you’re coming off of and you can relax and you’re not required to go to groups while in detox like most other places force you to do ( you can if you want but it’s not required) there are tv’s in the detox rooms so it really is the most comfortable detox I’ve been at and I’ve been to a lot. Smoking is aloud here which is a definite plus compared to other places which have stopped it. Your are also permitted to use your own cell phone after a 72hr black out period which is a big plus most all places do not allow this. Throughout the whole program of residential and PHP you get more freedom the further through the program you are. This really is I would say is a very luxurious rehab located in a good area. I want to give a huge shoutout to some of the staff specifically like Chef D and Chef Brie amazing food always. Techs lance (who is very understanding) and coupe. Watch out if you keep snacks in your room for like late night when your hungry Dwane will room raid and take all of them lol. Huge shoutout to the therapists especially Destiny who helped me a lot and Jada. And Ally who is director over the therapist. I would highly recommend this place to anyone struggling with addiction and if I ever needed help again this is the place I will be going.

I loved this place. It was amazing. It helped me get off heroin and meth. I have been on drugs for 24 years and this is where my journey began for help. I am now a year Sober. Everything I learned there has helped me. Coping skills taught very well. They explained how to just be a healthy person making better choices. I am so thankful for this place. If u need help and want to get better... This is a wonderful choice The food was good and rooms are super nice and private. I cannot express how much this place helped me. Love u Nurse Kathy. And the man in charge Dewayne was strict as hell but very helpful and they truly care about you

From Audrey, to Astella, Dee, Jimmy, Jenna, and Vallery, Dwayne, to Jon I have never felt more safe. The staff cared for me until I learned to care for myself. No words can encompass the way I have felt about the people who are my tribe in this journey. You are all rockstars and you all have a special place in my new heart where all the broken pieces have been put back together and made me feel whole for the first time. This is priceless, this is complete. Thank you and love you all! Delena
