This rehabilitation center changed my life. I wouldn’t be so far along in my recovery if not for this program. Everything and every place is what you make it. They give you the tools and support you need to succeed. It was like family. Thank you DJ and all the other counselors that helped me get to where I am now in my recovery process, and also the staff that dedicate their time to help. I’ve learned so much about myself, addiction, and of course cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy! I would definitely recommend this program to anyone battling addiction. I was scared at first and didn’t know if it would work, but I am 8 months clean now and I know it was because I stuck it out at RVA!
Sobriety from a high dollar drug since August 2023! I wouldn’t have made it this long if it weren’t for the tools given here. Most of the staff was caring and compassionate. There was a male nurse who must have misunderstood me when I told him I had A LOT of blood in my urine with a history of kidney stones. Then when I got to the ED I had a paper saying where I was from and NO PAIN meds were given.
I loved this place. It was amazing. It helped me get off heroin and meth. I have been on drugs for 24 years and this is where my journey began for help. I am now a year Sober. Everything I learned there has helped me. Coping skills taught very well. They explained how to just be a healthy person making better choices. I am so thankful for this place.
