What Our Patients Say About Us

I spent a month in residential treatment at RIO and am very thankful. The staff are outstanding at their job and everyone went above and beyond to make sure the stay was comfortable and reasonable. The team of therapists are excellent at their job and they make sure your time is not wasted. Thank you RIO!

Zachary Peters

This was the first rehab facility I'd ever tried and I'm truly grateful and thankful that I did. I felt like I was at home even on the days I didn't want to function. RIO saved my life in many ways and gave me the tools and time needed to go back out into society and conquer being sober.

Sara Tucker

Had a really good experience at RIO. The houses are very nice with room for everyone. The staff goes far and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Will recommend people who need treatment to this facility. They take you to outside meetings. Most of all I got my life back

RIO was a godsend for me and made me realize that it's ok if you've been in treatment before and it didn't stick. I'm convinced if I would have ended up here my first go around I would have had long standing sobriety. As of now I just hit 2 months sober after my stay with RIO and I'm still eternally grateful for the way the staff treated me while I was there, especially Charlie for convincing me to stay for a full cycle to begin with. I needed RIO and they were there for me like no other treatment center has been before.

Was truly blessed to have had the chance to go to RIO. The staff was amazing and did so much to help. It's also about the effort you put towards your recovery, but they will do everything they can to make your stay a positive one. Truly focused on helping people.

I was blessed to be a patient. The facility is wonderful the detox. It is what it is, but they take really good care of you. The housing is like sober living. Very recommended the staff or wonderful and do whatever they can to help you because they’ve been where you’ve been. I would highly recommend.

RIO is a very nice facility that offers great amenities. The staff really make you feel as comfortable as they can during those uncomfortable first days in detox. Once in residential, you are able to go to outside AA meetings on a nightly basis and other fun sober activities on Sundays. The staff is very educated and the group sessions are very informative, but I believe that you only get out of the program what YOU are willing to put into it! All in all, I would definitely recommend Recovery Institute of Ohio as a great place to start your recovery journey!
