I have been to every rehab around Sandusky myself and have had loved ones go to RIO and I can honestly say this recovery center goes above and beyond for every single client. Every single staff member truly cares, they take the 12th step x45 every single day and don’t just clock in and out; they show up for you. Whether it’s staying late to talk, helping you with a towel or housing, or just making sure you have the support you need to stay on track, the techs, therapist, case managers, nurses even the directors they ALL will go to any length to help you stay sober and rebuild your life. The environment is safe, supportive, and full of hope. They treat you like a person, not a number, and they believe in you even when you don’t believe in yourself yet. Thanks to this program, I’ve built a strong foundation in recovery and learned tools that actually work in the real world! If you’re serious about getting clean and want a place that will walk beside you every step of the way, this is where you need to be. I’m forever grateful for the people here and the second chance they helped me create. 🙏 And they have an amazing chef, the food is ridiculous! Don’t look anywhere else, just call RIO

Rio has been such an intregate part of my recovery. Between the staff, the groups and the beautiful facility I can honestly say that I am blessed to have this opportunity. I have been to a few other facilities and Rio by far has surpassed them all. The staff is there to help me through any hurdle I might face day or night. Rio will always hold a special place with me and I consider the staff here now part of my recovery family. Thank you Rio for believing in me when I couldn't believe in myself.

I don't know where I would be today without Rio. My recovery has come a long way thanks to all the staff, therapists, case manager's and support everyone has shown me. The facility is nice, clean and organized. The residential housing is great because you live in a real home, and all the residential techs and house mom has always been available and talk to me when I needed them.
