They helped me turn my life around. The staff treated me with compassion and respect from day one, and the program gave me the tools I needed to heal and grow—not just get sober. The support, structure, and community I found there were exactly what I needed. I left with a clearer mind, a stronger heart, and real hope for the future. I’m forever grateful. Plus they have nights of activity, good food and a gym .

Its been an amazing experience to have participated in this program. It gave me the chance to rediscover myself, be in peace and the most important recover the amazing man that I am. This program has been excellent for my recovery, I want to thank Lillian my therapist, Gilbert the client experience manager and everyone who has helped me in my journey. Thanks you recovery first This review above was for my residential stay. Below are my thoughts about the outpatient program since I continued treatment with recovery first. I feel like there has been recent changes that have made the program less effective. At first, there was diversity and different facilitators that all brought a unique approach to groups. Overtime it became only therapists which I personally feel have made the program less effective. I liked having multiple facilitator in the group. The therapists are great for one on one's. I'm not discrediting their value. Siggi is an incredible therapist. The trauma therapy with Omnia has been life-changing. I got more in my sessions with her than in the whole program. She is excellent. I was so scared to do trauma therapy but now I am so glad did it. I am now encouraging everyone in recovery to do trauma therapy because I see it's value. It has been life changing honestly I feel like a new person after processing my trauma with her.

This was by far the greatest recovery experience I've had to date. I was impacted by everyone in one way or another from Therapists to TA's, all the down to the client's. I can list names but it will take too long so I just want to give the biggest shout-out to everyone who was apart of my journey because without you all I wouldn't have discovered the evolution of Jerome Cooper aka Coop(me) when I did. So thank you, to all!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Recovery First. I was pretty scared when I first got there, but honestly the entire team at detox and residential changed everything for me. If you’re thinking about getting help this is the place. Everyone the doctors, the nurses, group leaders, and the TA’s was just phenomenal. They weren’t just doing their job, they genuinely cared. The nurses and doctors all made sure I was physically okay. And the group facilitators were incredible at helping us figure things out. But really every person including the TA’s and the therapist were always there to listen. They really helped me turn my recovery around and I will be eternally grateful. They treat you like a human being not just a case file. Thank you to every single person on the staff. Especially to Melina, Hubert, Gilbert, Marie, Omnia, Linda,Funmi, ms.Doreen,Moma And last but not least Jeff I don’t know how I would’ve done this without you. You all are the reason I’m doing better today.
