What Our Patients Say About Us
Reviews
this place changed my life. I wasn’t even aware that a place like this existed. This was my first time in residential treatment and I was so nervous because I do get nervous and social situations and going to a whole new state freaked me out too but the staff, nurses and therapists were so friendly and welcoming that it wasn’t long that I felt right at home.
Through going to groups, walking around the beautiful campus, and going to animal therapy, I was able to reconnect with myself. There are a lot of groups throughout the day about various helpful topics.
The food is so good and they serve a variety of different cuisines. However, if you don’t like with their serving that night, you can put in a form to get a substitution meal which are just as good.
They have a community meeting every week where you can voice your concerns. And they really do listen to you. Most of them who lead the meeting, take notes and follow up. They really do care about the patients there.
Martina, one of the patient advocates, is absolutely amazing at what she does. there is not even words to describe how great she is. If you have any concerns, she will do everything in her power to help you and really advocate for you.
overall, this place is such a beautiful, serene location to just be present, work on your mental health and meet some great people along the way. I would recommend going here to anyone.
I had a great experience at Pasadena Villa. The staff were phenomenal. I made great strides while I was here. It is tough work, but worth doing. I loved the group and one on one therapy paired with animal therapy and rec therapy. I am hopeful for the first time in a long time.
Since I’ve been at Pasadena Villa everyone have been very helpful supportive. The staff are amazing the food is great. And the therapist really take there time in working with you to make sure you are getting the CORRECT MEDS, CARE, SUPPORT SYSTEM, INCLUDING SIGNING UP FOR THE ALUMNI GROUP THAT AWAY WHEN YOU COMPLETE THE PROGRAM YOU HAVE THE SUPPORT YOU NEED FOR WHEN YOU LEAVE. I’m excited to say that I’ll be staying longer than what i expected because they want to make sure your needs are met correctly so that they won’t have to see you again
Pasadena Villa saved my life. I am forever indebted to this place and the amazing staff. My stay was comfortable, the food was some of the best that I’ve ever had and all of therapists, nurses, psych techs, and utilities were available 24/7 day and night. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better community in my healing and recovery. I wish that I could take these people with me in the future wherever I go! Friends for life! ⛰️
Wonderful experience, I gained a tremendous foundation for my mental health from attending the groups as well as individual therapy sessions, I also enjoyed the balance from art classes as well as meditative sessions as well as animal therapy; before attending Pasadena, I tried to heal myself through my own efforts, for many many years nothing helped, I was stubborn and had negative views on therapy as well as therapy centers, but after staying at the lodge, I gained so much understanding and focus on my mental health which helped start me in a brand new path and journey; I’m still having difficult days and so for me it’s important to journal and review key concepts to my situation that I learned from the lodge to help me in my healing journey, again, I’m not perfect but I’m much more hopeful and optimistic because of all the experiences I had there; I tend to be more proactive and want to learn and so that has helped me a lot; my next steps is to continue with consistency while working with an individual counselor from home. I am truly blessed to have gone to Pasadena and they truly have impacted my life more than any effort that I could’ve done on my own, for that I’m grateful.
