About Northpoint – Idaho
Northpoint Recovery began with a small group of people suffering from substance use. Like many others suffering from addiction, they believed that their substance use resulted from a lack of self-control or willpower. As a result, they felt ashamed, hopeless, and isolated as they struggled to control their substance use.

Mission & Vision
At Northpoint Recovery, our mission is to provide the same quality of care we would wish for our own families and loved ones.

What Our Patients Say About Us
Reviews
I recently stayed at NORTHPOINT treatment center for a 28 days stay and there is absolutely nothing bad that I can say about the program.
The medical staff was extremely helpful with the detox. The clinical team and counselors were extremely qualified friendly and went the extra mile to assist in making sure clients had a solid aftercare plan following treatment.
The facility itself is immaculate. Comfortable rooms, comfortable lounge areas, comfortable classrooms. The food there is catered, It’s excellent. The housekeeping and Kitchen staff were extremely friendly and personable.
Some of the most important things I got out of the program were from the amazing curriculum that is utilized there and the offsite NA and NA meetings available many nights of the week. There are also offsite activities such as boxing bookstores, bowling, And any other acceptable suggestions offered by clients.
This was an amazing experience that has changed my outlook on addiction and recovery. I made a tremendous amount of friends and family there and would highly recommend it to anybody looking for a life-changing experience.
I would recommend Northpoint to ANYONE seeking relief from addiction. The staff are incredible and care deeply for each client. I’d start naming names but I’d run out of space! The groups are interactive and informative. Just enough down time to relax and chat with fellows, play some games, or chill watching a movie but not too much that it becomes a distraction. Off-site meetings, 12-step offerings but always an alternative for those not into that approach… well-balanced and universal tailored to the individual and their needs. Very proper food. Comfortable rooms. Besides all of that… I came to Northpoint with a particular need that I did not know they would help fill. Where I was living was not conducive to my recovery. Through their community connections Northpoint assisted me in moving back to Boise! That is above and beyond simple a 28 day treatment center. The amount of hope now have for my future is completely different that it was a month ago. Five-stars for Northpoint. Without a doubt!
I had a really great experience at Northpoint! The staff is incredible from the cleaning crew on up. I was given everything I needed to be successful. Our groups were really beneficial. The counselors gave us the tools to live a sober life, but the amazing connections we all made outside of group were equally beneficial. Very impressed with the level of care I received.
Northpoint is as good of a place as I could have hoped to spend my 28 days in rehab. The staff, nurses and patients are great-helpful, kind and welcoming. The facility is extremely nice, comfortable and accommodating. The food is good and there is a good balance between classes, down time and activities. Having been through treatment before the only thing I will say is that it to me it’s not a place where those who have been through treatment are going to learn something they haven’t. However it was the best facility and people I have experienced in treatment and I am glad I chose Northpoint.
When you are ready for recovery, I highly recommend Northpoint. From the moment I walked in, the staff members were kind, professional, and helpful during one of the most difficult times in my life.
Everything about the facility was comfortable. It was not what I expected to say the least. I was treated with respect. I wasn't locked up in a hole. The environment made recovery attainable without making me feel miserable.
Because of the welcoming environment, the other community members were equally as pleasant. You get a sense of community in your recovery that lasts past your graduation date.
You will be exposed to tools, coping skills, techniques, etc. to assist you during your recovery. Before you leave, they make certain that you have a solid release plan and options for aftercare.
If you are at a loss for ways to put down addiction, definitely consider the inpatient program at Northpoint. I finally have confidence in a new life for myself.
