My experience was top of the line. The nursing staff was wonderful. They made me feel so comfortable that it was emotional when I left. The nurse techs became life long friends and they know how to connect with all of the residents since they are in recovery themselves. Your concerns are heard by all. It really does start to feel like home after you’ve been there for a time. If I ever have issues again in the future (fingers crossed that I don’t) this is the first place I would reach out to. The other residents I was in treatment with became like brothers and sisters to me and we are all in a group chat and keep in contact daily. I have so much I could say but MRC changed the direction of my life and my confidence level. I highly recommend it to without any reservation.

Midwest Recovery: The Place That Helped Me Find Myself—Twice 💙 If recovery had a five-star resort, Midwest Recovery would be it. ⭐️ About 4–5 years ago, I went through their Sober Living program and stayed for two years. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Recently, after a good stretch of clean time, I relapsed—and I knew exactly who to call. This time, I checked into their rehab facility (which I hadn’t experienced before), and from the moment I arrived, I was treated with compassion and respect. Not once did I feel like a number. The staff? Incredible. 👏 The rooms? Clean and comfortable. And the food? Honestly, next level—like, “am I in rehab. The program is well-structured, the groups are informative, and everything I needed was provided. I never felt like I had to go without. The energy there is real and healing. Special thanks to the amazing therapists—Quentin, Joe, and Stephanie—who talk with you, not at you. That makes all the difference. And to the rockstar techs—Kasey, Barbie, Zach, Matt, and Sandy—thank you for the support, the laughs, and being there when it mattered most. 😇 If you’re looking for a rehab that treats you like a human being and actually cares about your recovery, this is the place. This place changed my life and I will be forever grateful to the program and staff. I spent 30 days at their facility, and learned so much while being in a safe space to start to relearn life. I have had family and friends benefit from Midwest Recovery Centers. They provide a safe place which is very modern and very clean. We were very impressed with the personal attention that our loved one received. One on one therapy, group therapy, AA/NA meetings, free time, etc,. MRC provides a balanced approach to help clients grow and get healthier. I am grateful we have MRC here in Kansas City.
