Liberty House Recovery Center

My stay at Liberty House was one of the most positive experiences I have ever experienced. There is a palpable vibe of goodness within the house. An abundance of kindness and love fills the air in ways that are beyond words. Dr Abed as well as the entire staff are obviously most dedicated to ensuring the successful treatment of their guests. Liberty House is the real deal. If you have reached a point in life where you are committed to personal change, Liberty House is a first class facility staffed with first class professionals.

As I get going this Thanksgiving morning I thought about what I am most thankful for today. Our 1st grandchild due in May is a big one but getting my sober husband back home tops all. This would have not been possible without Liberty House. The man I fell in love with 35 years ago is back! He has a long road ahead but I truly feel LH has given his own individualized pathway to stay sober. Dr Abed is truly one of the most caring individual I have ever met. The entire staff just embraces the patient and family in such a loving and kind way. 6 weeks ago I googled alcohol addiction rehab facilities in Michigan and found Liberty House. My husband has been through 2 other programs but neither even come close to this facility. Liberty House has given us such a gift. This time we truly have hope!

I have been to 6 different inpatients through my journey. This was by far the best and most caring staff I have ever encountered. They went above and beyond. They didn’t treat you like you were on lock down. You didn’t have to ask to go outside and smoke. You could walk around their beautiful grounds without staff. You get your cell phone for an hour a day after 6 days. While you don’t have your phone they allow you t use one of there phones every day for up to an hour. The program was inclusive and takes a different approach to recovery. I really couldn’t say much more how great this place was. You have personal chefs that make amazing food breakfast lunch and dinner. Most importantly the owners and staff were just truly amazing. Which is very hard to find in rehab. My only complaint is that I really needed to be on a longer term benzo tapper which they did not accommodate and hope they will change this in the future. Otherwise this is hands down the best impatient I have been too.

Liberty House is a fantastic place to get well, and more importantly to learn how to stay well. Dr. Abed, the owner, strives to provide a caring and compassionate environment, and exceeds expectations in this endeavor. Dr. Ashley runs the program in a way that encourages evidence-based healing, and the staff is well chosen as to engender a strong sense of peer support. I stayed 32 days at Liberty House and in doing so I not only saved my life, but also learned how to build it up better. I cannot recommend Liberty House enough, and I will remember my time there for as long as I live.

The staff is excellent and really care about recovery. Dr. Abed is like a mom who wants nothing but the best care for everyone. Your chances of recovery are greatly improved with the excellent care provided here. They will go out of their way to make sure your stay is as safe and stress free as possible. Chef Ricky and Chef Lauren make sure every meal is delicious and Five Star quality. You won’t go hungry! Liberty House is the perfect place to go for sobriety for the rest of your life!
