Staff here is absolutely amazing and so welcoming. Everyone I have met have made me feel at home. Groups are so much fun and there’s so many opportunities to get to know other patients and make friends. The environment is nice, clean, and comfortable. I love spending time by the pool playing volleyball, doing crafts, playing ping pong, and so much more. Jean is my absolute favorite person i have met here! She has my artwork hanging up in her office and she brings such a fun vibe to everything! I would definitely recommend this place as I have been to a few treatment centers and this is my favorite by far.

What a wonderful experience. This staff gets it and they all get along. And they make the environment relaxed. Ask any team member and they will stop what they are doing and answer your questions. The therapists, the nurses, the T/As all are first class and care. And they have free ice cream anytime you want it. You can get well here. They have all sorts of recovery programs and there is a solid "Red Road of Recovery" Track for Native Americans. Very special and a wonderful therapist that leads this track.

My state at the Laguna treatment center was outstanding and well above what I was expecting!! The staff was not only courteous and outgoing, but incredibly sensitive to my needs and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that my recovery process was as comfortable as possible. I especially enjoyed the outdoor barbecue pool time and nightly activities, including karaoke, bingo poker, and nights in the movie room. I truly felt like I was on vacation and quickly forgot about the cravings that I had when I arrived in no time. I would highly suggest come into Laguna treatment center for any and all addiction recovery needs, I cannot imagine it being any better anywhere else!

I’ve been to Laguna Treatment Center on three or four occasions for detox and 30 day residential treatment For depression and alcohol use disorder. Most of the staff is Caring, experienced, and extremely helpful. One of the groups and the group facilitator is repetitive and completely unhelpful . This person takes more smoke breaks than allows for a group time, and the groups are enacted in the same manner for every hour. Gilbert is by far the best group facilitator and one of the most caring members of staff here at Laguna . He is extremely honest and will call anyone out on their bullshit, which I appreciate. He has helped me more in my time here than I can express . He tells me I don’t have to keep relapsing just to see him. My Case Manager Jean put up with a lot from me and my OCD and I am very thankful to her though I didn’t always show it. I do think the case managers are overworked and their caseload is way too high. They often have too many people to see and not enough time to give to those of us who need it, especially when we are discharging and have to find aftercare. However, I value Jean and appreciate all that she’s done . The medical care is excellent . I know people complaining about the long waits for meds, but I would much rather wait for accurate medication distribution, then be given the wrong medication. People are often impatient and treat the nurses poorly. The nursing staff for the most part is caring and the doctors I’ve seen have been informed about addiction as well as other medical conditions . I had several other problems in addition to my addiction issues and they were taken care of promptly and seriously. My therapist was not helpful in any way. She was difficult to find never had a consistent schedule and when I did see her did not offer any substantial assistance. My Case Manager was much more useful than the Therapist as was Gilbert . There are therapist here who I know are effective. Mine just didn’t happen to be one of them. Overall, I recommend Laguna Treatment Center highly There are of course glitches The food’s not always great, but it is always adequate and sometimes very good The kitchen staff is wonderful ! The house cleaning staff works very hard to keep our rooms clean and to keep up with demands of a bunch of addicts ! We aren’t always the easiest people. I hope I don’t end up back at Laguna but if I do relapse, I would definitely keep Laguna in mind for one more try . Thank you, Laguna for all that you do.

Nursing staff is great, the doctors take care of you so you don’t have to worry about having withdrawal symptoms. The rooms are clean and set up like a hotel room vs hospital room and the beds are actually pretty comfortable. I would recommend this place and would even come back myself necessary.
