Holland Pathways

I’ve said this so many times, and I’ll never stop saying it. Holland Pathways helped saved my life. They believed in me when I didn’t. They loved me when I couldn’t love myself. They fed me three times a day, but most importantly they helped me find myself, understand myself and be kind to myself in a time when I couldn’t fathom anything for my life other than drugs. The facility it self is small, but beautiful. And that makes it easy to navigate. The rooms in each building are very nice and clean. The clubhouse is large and the outdoor areas are very spacious. The food is so good, they kitchen staff truly know what they are doing when it comes to the food they are cooking. The nursing staff are super friendly and definitely take care of our needs. The RSS staff really know how to relate with us as clients and definitely are always willing to lend a shoulder to lean or cry on. And the counselors are definitely more than qualified for the care that they offer. The groups through the day are very informative, I learned a lot about my addiction, and how exactly it works. I was able to look at some things in life I never thought I’d look at again, and began to heal from it. If you’re struggling. Give yourself a break, go to holland pathways. It’s ultimately up to you, and no one else. It’s gonna be the best thing that you ever did for yourself.

This was my first experience with an in-patient substance abuse treatment program. The nursing staff in detox was very warm and kind while I was having an uncomfortable time. The clinical staff were extremely helpful in addressing the substance abuse issues, making a long-term recovery plan, processing deep seated emotional issues, and also offering practical direction with legal and relational elements outside of treatment. The facilities are clean and comfortable and the food was above average. The majority of the daily residential staff are in long-term recovery themselves and were very relatable and supportive. Some members of the residential community were off-track, but there is a way to work your own recovery progam amidst the distractions from other clients. I appreciated the dynamic approach to education through various mediums including reading, writing, films, music, art, and experiential therapy. It feels good to be sober and equipped with lots of new tools to continue sobriety and long-term recovery post treatment.

I was tired of having unmeaningful experiences. I was tired of my heart hurting and of hurting those I love. I wanted to start making healthy choices, to start making and working towards more fulfilling life goals, and I wanted to provide myself with propose. I wanted to have a better sense of self worth, better emotional regulation, and to be able to move past and grow from my own personal tragedies. Holland Pathways has helped me to achieve this. They've helped me to establish a healthy routine. They've provided me a strongly supportive environment cohesive to recovery. They've helped me to identify obstacles and learn tools for overcoming my past trauma. When you've reached the point of hopelessness and desperation, they are there to help you. When all you can feel anymore is incessant anger or devastating sadness, they are there to help you. My experience at Holland Pathways has been transcendent--completely life changing. When we've reached our ending, all we will have left are reflected by the choices we've made. Time will continue moving with or without us. It's not too late. It's never too late. In this moment, make the right choice by choosing yourself and your own happiness. If you want a better life, Holland Pathways is the place to be.

Holland pathways is a great Place to go to if you want to get sober and start your life on the right path and they have a lot of options to choose from when it comes to being discharged. they have a structured and routine environment with friendly people and the staff really care. when I first came to pathways I didn’t want to be here I was crying a lot and I got tons of hugs which was comforting that end up staying. I made a lot of friends and I know that these people I can count on if I was to slip up at any point in my life. I appreciate everyone in here.
