Blue Hills Recovery

I spent eight weeks at Blue Hills Recovery (Residential PHP) My experience was very very good. I can say that after reflecting on the person who was admitted and the person who finished and the difference it made. I mean as far as the way I felt and my ability to have a daily program, to talk about things going on my life much easier , having a little more discipline, and definitely more confidence in myself. I owe much of this to the therapeutic and community oriented program at Blue Hills. Last , but definitely not least is the staff members that were very kind to me and carried themselves as mental health professionals should (I write this as someone who’s been in several programs) Jodi (clinical director) and Montana (program director) Bless you both for your patience with me and the help you gave me. My experience at blues hills was worth it for my recovery in my mental health and drug addiction. Shout out to staff Montana, Jodi, Ryan, Nichole, Kelsey, Julia, and Jess.The staff is very professional and positive and care for your recovery

Overall, the place is great. There are some inconsistencies in staffing and level of therapies available. There is a disconnect in communication from the beginning as to what is and is not covered by insurance. "In network vs out of network". Our insurance lapsed and Zoe, Blue hills amazing regional manager, stepped in to rectify, so treatment could continue. Group leader, Peter, has the knowledge and acceptance to acknowledge each individually. He focuses on the person and the underlying causes for each. This is great in a group setting and allows all to experience different things together. I can't tell you how much peter has meant to my treatment . He has gone above and beyond for me. Just an all around great human being and I'm internally greatfull to him. I'm really going to miss seeing peter every morning. Blue hills is designed to be a drug rehabilitation center. Although there are some, as myself, who were there for mental health only, majority of the clients are there for mental health associated with drug rehab . Also just wanted to say thank you to lee , Jodi, Nicole, Ryan, Tony, carla, nick , and Rich. More incredible staff at blu Hills that help me along my mental health journey here. I came to this treatment for mental health and addiction treatment. Kelly truly made all the difference at the facility and the techs really helped with my time there and recovery. All treatment facilities have their difficulties and struggles but I felt heard in my concerns and could see changes happen or coming. I would not be where I am now in my recovery without Kelly and her groups that truly made a difference.
